This fluffy little first year cub (one of a set of triplets) is getting ready to tuck into some nice salmon scraps on the riverbank.
Unbeknownst to him, one of his siblings is lurking in the tall grasses behind him waiting to pounce! LOL
You can actually get a glimpse of the eye on the cub that's hiding in the grass but you probably have to be viewing this on a large screen to see that.
When I hadn't seen Fynn for a while and looked for him in the garden, I found him behind a planter from where he was watching a neighbour. The neighbour was planting potatoes in his garden, his first potatoes and he was very excited about the prospect of a plentiful potato harvest. I was heading down to the river bank to see what photo I might take in the fog when I saw a gaggle of geese just ahead. I figured they would move on as soon as they spotted me, so I clciked the shutter while I could while still under the cover of the bush. Sure enough, as soon as I came into view, they moved on -- blast their fluffy flighty feathers!
They are standing in the middle of the river, and their feet are barely wet. Yes, the water is low. It's never very deep in this spot, but still ...

No filter, no photoshop, just 100% Yellowstone National Park or at least a glimpse of it, this picture was taken from the bus I was on headed into Wyoming to Grant Village, the first true thing I ever really did as a grown up completely on my own 5/12/17
Upcoming Exhibit at Petite Industrial Gallery. Landmark to follow in the morning.
The focus of the exhibit is peaceful scenes and about Peace. During these trying times I figured it was a good theme to portray for such an amazing gallery.
