The week of Christmas there was an algae bloom in the Mississippi Sound and tons of fish died and washed ashore. The temps were in the high 70sF, and It smelled like hell. I didn't stay at the beach long. The unedited version is brown monotone SOOC.
Pedestrians cross an intersection in Portland's Pearl District while MAX passes by. Just breathe, another day.

It was oh so cold when I was sitting down painting this with the wind blowing and the crows squawking 😉

Just like mama said, these dishes aren't going to wash themselves. Neither am I. For now. ;) A nod to Mary Smyth and her many lovey "everyday" moments.

I always pass this big, intricate, bright, shiny, mysterious web of pipes in the stairwell during my nightly travels at work. I can't resist the urge to take a quick photo every now and again, then edit it half to death.
mobile (s6) shot of unfinished Plague Dr mask that's still to get its last cloth layer and paint. Hoping to use this for upcoming shoot. Cropped and edited in Snapseed app with b/w conversion and grunge texture added.

Reminiscing on that awful teen club I went to ONCE, the then-stylish pirate shirt I wore, this song blaring, finding cans of cheap beer on ice in the toilet tank of the stall marked "out of order". Stay classy, Mississippi.
Just been to give blood..
Now a little snowy ride round my local Peak District and a cappuccino reward too at Cafe19!!
Nice!! 45(s)miles!
I was supposed to go to the dentist for a cleaning eight months ago. I didn't.
Then I broke a tooth.
The dentist knows me very well. He knows I only call when there is an emergency. I think he must have my name penciled in, just in case, because he always fits me in.
What is most awesome is that I endured the visit sans Novocaine. What up, bitches?

The magnificent Salt Cellar Boulder stands on Derwent Edge, high above Ladybower Reservoir.
The stone was formed around 320 million years ago when the area was in a huge river delta. The grit was washed down the river from mountains further north and deposited in a wide area. Sometimes there would be layers deposited containing mud which would form softer rock. As it has become exposed to the elements in later years, these softer deposits have eroded, so the layers can be clearly seen in the rock.
Salt Cellar Boulder is so called because many people feel it’s shape resembles a salt pot.
