Just found an old forgotten Snapfish account with photos I’d completely forgotten about. This little guy was supposed to be my first foster kitty. Of course, he never left. My house has only a one way door when it comes to rescue kitties. I’m so glad he stayed with me!
I should have taken a “before” photo. He came to me after he’d been found in a parking lot; covered in dirt, grease, and dried blood from flea bites. We didn’t even know he was white until after I had washed him in my bathroom sink. I was so surprised when I realized he was actually snow white !
As we were sailing into Glacier Bay, Alaska, we saw some breathtaking scenery. There were also a few smaller glaciers along the way.
I haven't been on Flickr for a day or so as I have been getting my photos of Alaska together for a photo book - Snapfish had a special which finished tonight, so it was all a bit rushed. Now to work on the Canada trip for the next book.
I will catch up with everyone's photos tomorrow.
i wish the photo quality was better, but alas my last order from snapfish wasn't that great + my scanner sux~*~ but w/e have this!!!

Everytime We Touch ~ Cascadia
I still hear your voice, when you sleep next to me.
I still feel your touch in my dreams.
Forgive me my weakness, but I don't know why
Without you it's hard to survive.
'Cause everytime we touch, I get this feeling.
And everytime we kiss I swear I could fly.
Can't you feel my heart beat fast, I want this to last.
Need you by my side.
'Cause everytime we touch, I feel the static.
And everytime we kiss, I reach for the sky.
Can't you hear my heart beat so...
I can't let you go.
Want you in my life.
Your arms are my castle, your heart is my sky.
They wipe away tears that I cry.
The good and the bad times, we've been through them all.
You make me rise when I fall.
'Cause everytime we touch, I get this feeling.
And everytime we kiss I swear I could fly.
Can't you feel my heart beat fast, I want this to last.
Need you by my side.
We love it! Thanks so much to OPRAH who made it possible for her viewers to get one for only the price of shipping through SNAPFISH.
We were thinking about doing a children's book eventually (with paintings as art) and this book is moving us in that direction by showing us what our book could look like. We appreciate the inspiration! We ♥ Oprah!
This is the photo that I'm getting Christmas cards made from, at Snapfish. We were at Roger's Gardens, Benni was posing nicely, no hat, and of course not looking at me. That's fine - as a reward she got to give her elf costume away!
so either i can't hold a camera straight or snapfish printed this crooked (a lot of the photos from this roll have a bit of a slant...and a lot of the photos from this roll were taken during/after wine)
I'm so happy my room is somewhat finished. i just printed off half of my 365 pictures and it takes up almost 2 walls. i'm excited to see it when ALL MY PICTURES are up there!! woo!
May 1st!
i ordered all the pictures from www.snapfish.com BEST SITE EVER FOR PRINTS!

i do not like snapfish very much because they tricked me into thinking high res downloads were free. but they ARE NOT FREE UGH
taken in san jose, california at some random asian man's home.
One of four of a series...
No "real" camera, no hat, no gloves, no boots…just doing a quick favor…on the way, passed three (not one, but three) abandoned trucks. This was a "must stop" situation and this is the first of a series of quick shots. I plan on processing all of the images with some of the photo software downloaded for use with my iPhone.
The light was awful, but at least it wasn't too cold…must go back!
Processed using Snapseed HDR Scape #3 filter, Drama (Dark1), Vintage (Style 3), Texture 1. Grunge.
In "Long Exposure (Observer and Observed)", the images show inaccurate forms, like the memories are diluted over time, colors and faces that seem out of place, is an invitation to the viewer to launch a watchful eye and imaginative about photography, seeking purities derived from your life experiences that lead to build my universe on its exposure.
Photos are my avatar, they reflect me, share them through my eyes with new observers, who knows that summer is not reflected in my pictures too?
blerg. weird mood.
i messed up this roll of film for really the first time since i started shooting film. somehow the canister got disengaged from the post/rewinding mechanism and i was unable to wind the film back up after shooting it, but i kept popping open the back the check the status (yes i know this can wipe the film of any photos that might have been on it). i came up with another idea, which was to leave the lenscap on and shoot/wind/shoot/wind the film and see if that fixed it. all it did was pull all the film out of the canister completely so that the canister was empty and the film was wound around the other post on the other side of the camera. thankfully, i was able to catch one of the photo techs at costco and he took the camera into the black tent and wound the film into a temporary canister and they were able to process the film. a few photos did get wiped and several have light leaks on them but most of them were okay. so thankful it happened when i was home rather than here at school where my processing options are the walgreens (staffed by mountain-people) or snapfish (obviously i can't send my whole SLR to them and ask for the same treatment)
anyway
This was our Christmas card we sent out this year. We used snapfish.com and sent it out as a postcard. it came out great and everyone seemed to love it. I wish i could say we did this in one take, but, well the cats are new to "jumping."
(i think the outtakes are probably funnier, but we just couldn't get all the shots we needed that 2nd time around.)
12.17.08
So lots of people have seen this shot! I think maybe more than have seen the rest of my photos combined. Sheesh. Anyway, last year this guy in Germany bought this for his postcard company (kind of random, but awesome and the guy, Andreas was really cool) and it's up for sale this year! So if you're in the Euro-zone, check it out!
Hey everyone, check out our 2008 Christmas Card (no jumping, but plenty of PS)
Grainy old film shot of the S.S Palo Alto here at Seacliff State Beach near Santa Cruz. Playing around with filters and shooting straight into the sun gave the sandy low tide an interesting effect. The sun and it's sunlight giving hope through the darkness.
Venturing where I've never ventured before in trying this auction idea. I'm not set up on Etsy or anything similar for selling prints so I went to Flickr's Organizr and explored the 'Print and Create' tab. So the print will be from Snapfish. If this works out, I may do another at some point in time. Here are the details:

I had some of my favourite photos from our South African trip made into four photo albums. I had one made for our tour from Capetown to Durbin, one for Isandlewana and Rorkes Drift, one for Pilanesberg and one for Kruger. I picked them up yesterday and I am really pleased at how they look. It is much better than having photos printed and put into albums, as I would have needed around 10 albums, which would have taken up so much space. I did the same for our trip of France and the UK last year.

And the trees, the birds and all nautreza broke into songs of praise to the Creator of such beauty!
She heard him singing but not seen, was already giving me qdo turned to walk away and there he was, right behind me, so close that I did not believe.
new photos coming soon! (roll of film en route to snapfish + i'm very close to developing my own roll of black and white film!)
Flickr finally nailed me…I was using Spanish as my language of choice, and was then able to have the older version. This morning it changed, and I can no longer order prints from them through Snapfish (or at least, I can't locate the option anymore…that was how I was giving gifts to friends, now I am "flocked"!).
