Hall passes and tardy cards get smurfed and inserted into the appropriate class section for easy retrieval later.
College hazing ceremony? Who knows... these guys were dressed up as Smurfs in 50 degree weather. I don't know who they were. I just hung out the window and when they saw the camera they said... "Dude... were gonna get Smurfed!".
I decided I wanted a better way to find the next blank page in my notebook. I had been using Post-It durable index tabs, but I wanted a better way to do it. I had one of those fake credit cards you get in credit card offers. I chopped off part of one of those and smurfed it off-center so it would stick out to the side just a bit. This seems to work pretty well.
I smurfed Tillie a cake. I hope she has a smurfy birthday!
Here's another random Windy idea that needed to come to fruition. I definitely could learn a thing or two about cake decorating, but let's not let that distract from the awesomeness of a smurf house cake!!!
I bought one of those giant cupcake pans. Then I realized the likelihood of ever having a use for it was slim to none. Then I saw how you could make a castle and various other things with it, and it occurred to me OMG it looks like a Smurf house!! So I made it a mission to make this cake.
Tillie isn't exactly a Smurf fan. When I asked her if it was okay to get a Smurf cake she replied, "Well I guess so. I did try to color myself blue once to look like a Smurf." Yeah, Tillie, it's your birthday and I just shared a random, embarrassing fact about you to the world. That's just how I roll.
This is actually part of a weekly tradition I started at work. We bake on Fridays to cheer everyone up at the end of the week. It's "the No Frownies on Friday Bake Club." Tillie used to tell me every Friday I wasn't allowed to frown as Friday is NOT the end of my week, so I don't always have the same euphoria as everyone else. Anyway, here is one of my favorite baking attempts for No Frownie Friday.
When I cut the ends off the case, it wasn't a closed bag anymore, so I took it to the sewing machine and just (sloppily) sewed the ends closed again.
I smurf you smurfed a good smurfs and you smurf well. For smurf your smurf, please smurf this smurf as smurf of my best smurfs... ;D

Prince owned Coachella 2008, for sure. He brought out Sheila E, he brought out Morris Day, he covered Radiohead, he played for an hour past curfew. he declared Coachella shall now be known as Prince's house. I believe it.

The first Smurf I smurfed, Brainy Smurf, smurfing a smurf. He smurfs: "Do you smurf...!?"
And I smurf: "Well, I've been smurfing the whole day! May I now finally smurf a little bit?"
This is the orientation I'll be using these pages in, with the printed text upside down. These are rather badly smurfed, but I'm pretty sure they'll be durable enough to use anyway.

another photo test with the canon ef 50mm f/1.4 lens. primarily testing its ability in low light situations. this was shot on my desk with only as a primary light source. quite impressive.
This is my extremely budget Circa PDA nano open. Cards are simply 4x6" index cards chopped in fourths and smurfed. Covers are expired membership cards Circa punched.
This was my second year of going to take photos of the Halloween Pub Crawl, in downtown Springfield, Missouri.

My mom and I went out to dinner with Ash D then dessert. Afterward, I went to Kyle's birthday party. :) I got to see Shannon there, which was nice. Haven't seen either of them since Youmacon.
That's one of my mom's presents. :) She used to collect the bears Hudson's used to release... Sadly, no more bears. Instead you get these guys. Haha.
This cover is hand-smurfed instead of using my Circa punch. I did make two covers, but I ruined the first one trying to use the Circa punch on it - it was too thick and didn't go in all the way, so the smurfs were uneven and not deep enough.
My Circa-fied DIY hPDA. 3x5 cards, smurfed on the short side. Home-made cover art, cover and one divider made from thin clear plastic sheet.
Also pictured, my Pilot G-2 .5mm pen and PenTech mechanical pencil.
This is my dive buddy. We don't have many pictures together because he's usually the one smurfing the pictures. His mom smurfed the picture for us and got him in the middle of smiling.
