I made a healthy smoothie and was blown away by the colours of it so I had to take a pic before I drank it. ;-)
~ Homegrown Blueberries, Banana, Cantaloupe, homegrown Rainbow Swiss Chard, cinnamon and ginger.
Karat Banana Smoothie
Ingredients
3 ripe Karat bananas
2 cups of fresh coconut juice or one small coconut
1 calamansi squeezed or 1 teaspoon of lime or lemon
Method
•Pour coconut juice into the blender and add peeled Karat bananas
•Squeeze calamansi into the blender
•Blend on high for 30 seconds or until smoothie thickens and no chunks of banana remain
Health Notes
This sugar- and fat free smoothie contains vitamin A from the Karat which is great for healthy skin, the immune system and good eye health. Calamansi has vitamin C and Calcium
Veggie Smoothie
preparation: 5 minutes • processing: 1 minute • yield: 3 cup (720 ml)
1 organic carrot, halved
1 rib organic celery, halved
1 organic tomato, quartered
1 organic cucumber, chopped
1 organic zucchini or organic yellow squash, chopped
1/2 cup (30 g) organic parsley leaves
1 tablespoon organic kelp seaweed powder
1/2 cup (120 ml) water
1. Place all ingredients into the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure lid.
2. Select Variable 1.
3. Turn machine on and slowly increase speed to Variable 10, then to High.
4. Blend for 1 minute.

{ 2 frozen bananas, 3 dates, 1 good tbs peanut butter, 1 tbs cocoa powder and a little ice ~ pour over enough rice milk to cover, blend, serve, enjoy!! ~ serves 2 }
Day 3 Apple Pie Smoothie. I basically followed the recipe on the link below except that I do not have pumpkin pie spice so I simply added nutmeg and cinnamon and we only have deglet nour dates in the house at the moment so I used those instead. This was a delicious smoothie. After I tasted according to the recipe, I added in some of my pea protein and it didn't change the flavor a bit. The apple, date, almond milk, spice combination is soooo good. No spinach or protein powder taste at all!
My greens for this smoothie: red cabbage. Beautiful color...a deep pink, light purple...magenta looking smoothie. This concoction: red cabbage, peach, cinnamon. Outrageously delicious!s

Love my green smoothies. This has kale, lemon, lime, ginger, celery, banana, oranges, pineapple, some blueberries and a dash of cayenne pepper. So good!
Whenever I had access to a blender, I always made milkshakes. My friend Stefano gave me a blender and I made my first ever homemade smoothie.
Using my four years of experience at Jamba Juice, I was able to throw this together without measuring and you can see how it resulted in a thick and perfect pour.
Ingredients: Minute Maid orange juice, Breyer's Smooth & Dreamy vanilla bean ice cream (half the fat, fewer calories), some mango chunks, and 20 grams of whey protein. No ice.
Notice how the blender has only one speed!
