I'm back from my mini-vacation! I spent a relaxing day and a half at Smith Mountain Lake, Virginia. The weather was hot and sunny - good vacation weather, but not exactly good photography weather. I tried taking some sunrise shots, but ended up waiting until more than an hour after sunrise for the sun to clear the trees so I could take this photo. The light was at the wrong angle to light up the mist like I wanted, but it does have 3 of my favorite photography elements - lake mist, a dock, and a sunrise :)
