A member of the Thrush family which includes the North American Robin & the Varied Thrush. This does look a little like a robin that fell into a can of bright blue paint ...

One of my favourite photos from Mark & Jenna's wedding day, at Tyhee Lake near Smithers BC.
Their house has such a beautiful view of the lake, looking towards Hudson Bay Mountain. What a beautiful day for a wedding!

This is perhaps the second most prominent mountain visible from Smithers, BC, (Hudson Bay Mountain is # 1). Brian Boru was named after a group of mining claims established a century ago in the heart of the Rocher Deboule Range of mountains west of Smithers.
The double set of ditch lights, the 'BCOL' designation, & the 4600 road # tells you that this was once a red, white & blue BC Rail locomotive. Apparently, this was repainted about 5 years ago..
Mountains just east of Telkwa, BC. The small mountain on the right is Hudson Bay Mountain in Smithers, BC
Photos from our latest wedding in Smithers British Columbia. They had a beautiful wedding ceremony in a hayfield and a barn wedding reception. Such a wonderful day!

Mark & Jenna had some of the most amazing locations for us to take their wedding photos. Their neighbour was just about to hay this field, but we were able to get some amazing wedding photos, with a fantastic view of the mountains in the distance. What a beautiful day for a wedding!

An in-camera double exposure of Curtis Cunningham (Photistry.tumblr.com) at Lake Kathlyn in Smithers, BC
It’s beautiful up there in Northern BC and Curtis’ images from the region are fantastic. I recommend you check them both out :)
A shot from the road up to Tyee Lake. Looks similar to other shots I have, but it's actually different :)

Mark & Jenna wanted some wedding photos with the old homestead house at the family farm, on the hills above Tyhee Lake near Smithers BC. With the house, the field, and the view it was one of the most amazing wedding photography locations we have seen.
