Daisy vanquishes the Evil Battery Operated Singing Robot Cat from Hell.
Not long after this, Charlie and I were speculating on the evolutinonary ancestors of the modern pug. We had talked about how dogs descended from wolves, and how they hunted in packs.
"The prehistoric pugs must be so fierce because they probably hunted the savage Asiatic hamster," I told Charlie. "The Asiatic hamster was known for its vicious tusks."
I thought Charlie's brains were going to come out his nose, he was laughing so hard...
NOTE: I'm off for a week-long business trip, and I may not have Flickr access for a while. (I AM taking the camera... :-) I may not be as active in commenting to your photos as I have been, but believe me, I look forward to each and every one of them when I get back...

After an initial bad experience with it, the Evil Battery Operated Singing Robot Cat from Hell has become one of Daisy's favorite toys.
When you squeeze this cat's elbow, it sings the "Meow Mix" song and wiggles its ears and tail. Initially, this scared Daisy to the point that she screamed. (Pugs are known to scream under distress. It's... alarming.)
Now, Daisy loves nothing better than for one of us to slide the EBOSRCfH across the floor so she can skitter after it, leap on it with a mighty leap of doom, and savage it unmercifully.

This is my wife and my pug. I am looking for comments on whether the top of the wall (where the fountains are bubbling), should be cropped? I think not because how do we know where the water on the right is coming from. Know what I mean? What do you all think? Thanks.
