On this day at the waterfall walk the light was as I'd never seen it before...showing these colours in a way I hadn't seen either. I was torn between stopping here and getting shots of these colours, or hurrying up to the waterfalls! I didn't want to waste the light! As it happened the light was still wonderful at the top fall (I posted that picture a month ago here ), and when we came back down this way all the light and colours had gone... so for once luck was on my side.

T722 hustles south out of Smiley Tunnel in Flagler, KY as it nears Hagans Tunnel and the Virginia state line.
I was out taking pictures of my hummingbirds the other day when I saw this fellow and thought he had an interesting face.

Until I started enjoying all of the posts for this challenge I had no idea of just how pervasive these little yellow guys are!
Steve and Dawn our local greengocers delivered our weekly supply in a smiley box.
So I gave it a carrot.

I don't know why but this truck just seems to be smiling, to have the barn doors open for some light and some fresh air. Simple things.
