The red and blue mugs are a pair, the orange one at the back did have a matching one, but it got broken. The one in the middle (back), is unique.
The two small coffee cups each belong to incomplete sets, and the glasses too.
Not sure that we shouldn't drink out of long-lasting plastic cups!!

Smile on Saturday theme Dogmania
This is Cookie our failed Guide Dog. Poor Cookie doesn't do so well in the intense heat although he still insists on lying out in the sun, whereupon I have to usher him into the shade or indoors. Thank goodness it's a bit cooler today.

Although this bear looks to be smiling in this photo, it was very stressed out. The bear was up on a hill in Denali National Park and wanted to cross the road. The problem was that about 20 vehicles were hopscotching along, preventing the bear from crossing the road. It was quite obvious, the bear intended to cross the road. We had parked our truck quite a ways away, watching the fiasco. As it was, the bear ran beside us in the woods, and soon, we were surrounded by vehicles and people running with cell phones and cameras in hand.
I get the idea of photographing bears, I do it whenever possible. But the mentality of chasing a bear with a vehicle and changing the bear's activity is definitely wrong. Maybe I'm too harsh, just hate to see people interfering with wildlife.
Just had to put this in. When I was last in Germany, my sister and I went to the Munich Zoo 'Hellabrunn'. The closer we came to the tortoise area, the more people stood in front of it. I realized, it was feeding time. So I positioned myself a little to the left (I don't like big crowds), As I was standing there, the tortoise, started to eat, than, it was like she could see me....and you can see what happened. Couldn't believe this big smile...lol

I was looking through some pictures that I still want to post from our last trip to Africa in October 2015. I came across this one which put a smile on my face and I hope it does the same for you! This Meerkat looks very pleased with his morning breakfast. Taken just after sunrise in Tswalu Kalahahi, South Africa.
