It should have shown when the bus is coming, someone thought it was a bad idea...but it made a nice light.

Flintholm, Vanløse.

I was a few thousand short on my step count when I got home, so I went out for a walk straight after work.

Although this looks like my front wall, it isn't - being outside a house in an adjacent road.

This is somehow oddly prophetic of what was to come in the Champions League fixture this evening, when I can well imagine that more than one telly might have had something hurled towards it.

More informatively, this does help to show why CRT screens are so damned heavy - the glass is REALLY thick!

A modern dilemma: my smashed iphone! (Photo by Brian Cleary / www.bcpix.com )

Sigh! Dropped my phone, case flapped open and bang/smash!! Still works though!!

Ugh. I'm actually kind of amazed that I've had it for over 2 1/2 years without this happening.

Quite literally trash TV. Instead of taking this to the recycling centre, less than a mile away. Some thoughtful soul decided to smash it up on the edge of a newly ploughed field.

Part of the challenge to take a photo a day in 2009.

As described in blog.urremote.com/2012/02/adventures-tracking-bicycle-rac... this Xperia Active handset was on Will Clark's bike on the final stage 6 criterium in the 2012 Tour Down under. It was in a saddlebag wrapped in bubble wrap. To get some idea how hard it is to smash one of these see this video youtu.be/F92CvRflk18?t=1m23s where it gets hit hard without breaking for a long time. He breaks it in the end though. This demonstrates the high shock environment of a bicycle frame.

This handset was on Will clarke's bike on the final stage 6 criterium. It was in a saddlebag wrapped in bubble wrap but probably clamped against the frame with a cable tie. It shows the high shock environment.

The smashed handset was in a single saddle bag like this. Here saddle bags were doubled up to carry two handsets for testing. This arrangement didn't work and the bottom handset fell from the bike but was undamaged.
