Transmission:

Smart features an automated manual transmission—you can drive it in automatic or manual mode. There is no clutch pedal, so gear shifting is done through plus/minus switches on the gearshift or paddles by the steering wheel. However, most of the reviews on cars.com do mention that the transmission, especially in the automated mode, lacks finesse when shifting.

The pretty little smart car we wish we could keep, but has no room for the baby. Patrick is going to list it on ebay I think. It's so cute!
