Going back and looking at the pictures I have edited so far on lightroom I was feeling like I absolutely sucked at it because there was something about all of my pictures that just didn't look right. After a short time looking I quickly came to my senses and realised that I have been trying to make every image look super warm and cozy and pretty but all I have really done is make it look like I have been photographing the Simpsons.

Might seem obvious but I get very set in my ways and apparently when I first edited all of these photos I didn't notice that everything in them looked jaundiced.

I am so hard on myself with the whole editing process and it takes me so long to decide whether I'm going to upload a picture to here or not and I have stupidly high and unrealistic expectations of myself in which I feel that I should have already attained a level of artistic perfection that makes people weep when they look at my pictures. (Well maybe not quite weep, but you know what I mean.) I have to learn to recognise the fact that I have had this camera for less than a month and I have only been using the post processing software for the same and that I'm not gonna be perfect at it immediately and uguguguhghguhuhhhhhhhguh

I just know exactly what I want my photos to look like and its frustrating when I'm unable to achieve it. Maybe I could make a small difference by purchasing the next lens I want.

I mean its not all bad!! I'm certainly figuring out where I do and don't want to go with my photography and also that my original choice of making things very sunny was a terrible terrible idea.

I still have a long way to go to reach my idea of perfection but the future isn't looking nearly as yellow.

(Update: I have just discovered free downloadable presets and I am very happy.)

Yes, a balloon person walking a balloon dog is cute ... but as cute as a Yorkie?

A colleague ordered a replacement battery for his powerbook from Small Dog on my recommendation and, when it arrived, I "installed" it for him. Small Dog had included these little small dogs in the box and I got to keep them. Now that I have a picture of them with my computer, I've put them in to keep Muffy company.

Willie has moved to his new home. He's going on a diet, will be a running partner for his new mom and his new best friend (a 10 year old boy) is going to teach him tricks and maybe even agility. Willie is going to finally be getting all the good love and attention he deserves. He will also have a best dog-friend, another male about his age. Sounds like a perfect home for this sweet boy.

Willie is a happy, fun, friendly and energetic dog. He's looking for a companion who will enjoy playing with him, teaching him new tricks and most of all, someone he can love to bits. He's a very, very good dog. Listens well. Eager to learn. He's always got a smile and is always ready to please.

His birthday is December 4 or 6, 2009. He is *not* fixed and does not have papers.

Susan aka smalldogs has been suffering the oppression of the man and has finally declared herself Free at last, FREE AT LAST, Lord God Almightly, she's FREE AT LAST! The build up to her last day on the job is mounting steadily. So here's for you, Susan. Today is egg washing and prep day and usually these eggs (the cracked ones) would go into the fridge for the dogs. But this week they are all yours to THROW! Share them with your friends and relations or toss them all by yourself! Have fun!

Rada is a puppy from our first litter.

She's a very sweet and loving girl. She has always been eager to please and will learn what you want to teach her very quickly.

She loves her people, but is more shy around new people. She likes to sleep on the bed with her people and you're likely to have her cleaning your hands, arms, face... ok, I admit.. just about any bare skin, she'll happily lick clean for you. ;) And of course, she'll be happy to share the couch, or your favorite chair with you.

Her birthday is November 20, 2009. She has not been fixed (has had 1 heat and no puppies) and will not come with papers. We have her dad with us but her mom has been rehomed to a family of friends.

Wondering where her mommy Dana went.
