after much debate on the facebook, susan decided to leave her big schmancy camera at home, and just bring her little olympus point and shoot to nyc. smart move; we had a blast flitting around the city, pointing and shooting. (you can see her little p&s in this shot -- it's the only thing in focus, heh.)
The stray pup we picked up near Spalding Drive and Holcomb Bridge Road on 10/11/08. We're calling him Max, after James Clerk Maxwell. We're fostering him but also actively trying to find him a permanent home.
i think it was smalldogs who once said, "there's nothing louder then two small dogs wrestling". here is your proof.
and i love Paco's 'game over' sneeze at the end. :)
This big, burly backhoe operator had his little dog with him in the cab. He said her name was Dixie.

This is one of my most favorite of these pictures. The lady on the right appears to be very fond of the little dog. The other lady is posing for the picture.
The best dog in the world.
Sadly, he's not my dog (I have an allergy to him). He's my friend's beloved Miniature Schnauzer and has the most wonderful personality. Some schnauzers can have a tendency to "nip" occasionally, but Reg never has. He's nearly 4 years old. He's extremely laid back, calm and placid.....if anything, he can be a little aloof! But he's friends with anyone, once he gets to know you, and is happy anywhere.....wherever he lays his chin, that's his home, and you know he likes you when he lays his chin on your knee and goes to sleep. He's only a small dog, and even small for a miniature schnauzer! He's actually turning into a minor celebrity in Jersey, as wherever his owners go with him, they are stopped several times by people wanting to say "Hello" to Reg, because he's such a cutie and everyone falls in love with him when they meet him, as he's so lovely.
Little Lovey the Chihuahua. She really lives up to her name.
