Shot with ND filter to get water motion smoothed to mist
No post-processing, no in-camera enhancements
Taken in Clinton, NY at the top of Paris Hill. I'm still new to this type of photography, but am happy with the improvement I'm making. You can see Mars to the right of the trees just above the horizon

📍 Little Perhaver Beach, Gorran Haven 🌊☀️🌊
I fancied going somewhere new. So I scoured "The Photographer's Ephemeris (TPE)" app for a new coastal location facing the rising sun - cross referencing with image searches as an online recce! I found "Great Perhaver Beach." The very few photos online showed monolithic rocks strewn over the beach... that's where I would go!
Parking up at Gorran Haven an hour before sunrise, I walked the coast path northwards by torchlight. In the darkness, I saw no way of getting down the steep cliffs to the beach, and continued to Chapel Point. With the light now picking up, I retraced my steps - looking for access. I didn't find a way and surmised that Great Perhaver is best accessed at low tide or by kayak.
I began to form a social media post in my head about a failed trip out with the camera. In fact, maybe a little selfishly, I was glad that the sunrise was snuffed out buy low cloud. If the light kicked off I would have been jumping!
I thought though, while I was there I'd wander nearby "Gorran Haven Beach" and then "Little Perhaver Beach." Maybe an hour or so after sunrise, the sun began to penetrate the heavy cloud, and bathe the scene in soft light - which really picked out the colours of the rocky cliff face.
I darted in-and-out between waves to compose my shots. I used these rocks washed by the sea to anchor the foreground, with the receding headland and ominous sky backdrop. Despite Storm Bella's high winds, I was surprised that the waves weren't bigger. But it did make fore a moody sky.
Once again, my wellies got filled by a wave! And when a heavy hail shower pelted me I decided that it was time to go home!

iPhone slow shutter capture to show the changing urban scape here. More towers are coming; not to my liking. Thanks for your appreciation, Gail

Spent about a half an hour trying to capture some mid-day pictures here but mostly came up with junk, so I went a little minimal and liked what I got with my ND filter and some patience. I know there is nothing special about this but it was fun to play around with bad conditions.
There was an old crab that hurried
Light on her feet in a scurry.
When caught in the rocks
Her eyes wound like clocks
As the tide came in in a flurry.
This place is known for it rocks formation and sea weed that grown only for some time. Lucky enough able to captured it before it is covered by the sand....
©Lela Bouse-McCracken ::: Whereas Upper Bear Creek (above Evergreen) has very exclusive homes, Lower Bear Creek is not as private & there are a few places where you can actually get down to the creek in spite of the steep rocky canyon.
I appreciate the thought, but ***Please no group or personal icons in the comments.***
