Today is the first day of summer......2011. It's a typical day for me. While eating breakfast, I watched The Travel Channel and then took a walk in my yard in South Georgia, USA noticing all the greenery and sunlight. Then I drove into Valdosta for line dance class at the Senior Citizen Center. While looking around, I found a group playing Chickenfoot with dominoes; so, I joined them and drank my Slimfast for lunch. Next I drove out to Stone Creek community and joined a water aerobics class in the swimming pool there. Finally I drove home and ate a Wendy's Apple-Pecan Chicken Salad that my husband had brought for me. We watched the first episode of "Wives and Daughters" on a Netflix DVD. He chopped some onion and yellow squash which I stewed for future meals. As I watched "America's Got Talent," I played "Words with Friends" with a friend in Florida, read a chapter of Cranford on my Kindle app, and read a chapter of the Bible all on my iPhone4. To end the evening I downloaded the videos and photos that I'd taken during the day and uploaded to Flickr.

I went to line dance class at Learning in Retirement. Then I drove to the Senior Center to drink my Slimfast & V-8 juice with friends before playing Chickenfoot. Next I drove to the Hair Clinic for my weekly wash & set. After resting awhile at home, I drove to Carol’s house & picked up Tommy, Carol, and Karen (our new friend from the LIR class). Tommy drove us downtown. We ate dinner at Mo’s Mediterranean Table before attending the play at Dosta Playhouse (the old movie theatre). When I raised the phone/camera to take my selfie, two guys behind me photobombed! :-)

Here's a shot for the "What's In Your Bag?" group. I got the Vera Bradley "Out To Lunch" in Windsor Navy for Christmas (2006). Enclosed are my two Slim-Fast breakfast bars (in the elusive "Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough" flavor, which, for whatever reason, is next to IMPOSSIBLE to find in Gardner, but I digress...) and my yummy lunch, a Healthy Choice pizza and a Coke!

We had water aerobics at Rolling Hills w/Joyce. Then I drank my Slimfast & V-8 at the senior center before line dance class.

Porkpies FUCK YES!

Slimfast FUCK NO!

What a load of bollocks it is. Slimfast, the word is like a swear word to me and i hate swearing.

Im a fat bastard and proud, but here is my suggestion if you do feel the urge to shed one of your spare tyres.

Minipork pies are the answer, eat 4of the bastards instead of one massive fucker.

See the weight drop off.

Im Ted Bovis, im a fat fucker.

A photo taken for the LIR class.

This morning I taught the 2nd class of "Fun with Photos Online." The class is going very well--better than the 1st 2 times I taught the class.

Then I drove over to the Senior Center (drinking a SlimFast) on the way and participated in Beginner Line Dance class--operating the sound system since our assistant teacher is visiting her parents in NJ.

Next I drove to the country club and had a shortened workout with my trainer before driving to Valdosta State University's Student Recreation Center for a LIR Water Aedobics class.

I was tired when I arrived home. Jim brought me a side salad and Whopper from Burger King. We ate while we watched 2 episodes of Downton Abbey on a Netflix DVD.

Yeah

As a shorty playing in the front yard of the crib

Fell down, and I bumped my head

Somebody helped me up and asked me if I bumped my head

I said "Yeah"

So then they said "Oh so that mean we gon, you gon switch it on em'?"

I said "Yeah, Flipmode, Flipmode is the greatest"

Knowing as a shorty, I was always told

That if I ain't gon' be part of the greatest

I gotta be the greatest myself

C'mon C'mon, Yeah, C'mon

Yeah nigga what, what a surprise

Get ya sumn', make a nigga close both of your eyes

All my niggas gettin' money capitalize

Die little small guy, we on the rise

Everything a nigga touch platinumize

Fully equipped, you know we come wit' all the supplies

Got a big gun, and I'ma show you the size

You fuck wit' any of my Flipmode family ties

Me and my niggaz be comin' through stalkin' you out

Killin' off any and everything you talkin' about

See you in the club, now we walkin' you out

Shoulda' thought twice 'fo you went and opened your mouth

Yo, anyway we stay keepin it movin'

Fuckin' with the wrong nigga, hope you know what you doin'

Now blame me, all the same niggas is lame

It's not a game, makin' names still splittin' your frames!

Chorus:

Y'all niggas had enough?

Gimme some more

Y'all niggas want the wild shit?

Gimme some more

Yo Spliff where the weed at?

Gimme some more

I know ya'll niggas need that

Gimme some more

Even though we getting money you can

Gimme some more

With the cars and the big crib

Gimme some more

Everybody spread love

Gimme some more

If you want it let me hear you say

Gimme some more

Flash with a rash gimme my cash flickin my ash

Runnin' with my money son go out with a blast

Do what you want, a nigga's cuttin' the corner

You fuckin' up, oh to go ahead and meet the reporter

Yo, she tellin' news on how you switch to a bitch

Little fake funny style, nigga chill with a snitch

So now I pass and trait over your blood and to ask you

Make a little room for me and all my niggas to pass through

Cartier, Sidney Poitier, hooray shit

What with all my niggas from around the way shit

When I come through you niggas know I do my thing

Bring more shit that generate money, chi-ching

Arrest you lyrically flow and caress you

Bless you, then a nigga come to your rescue

While you assume a nigga blossom and bloom

I'm comin' soon hit you with a boom gimme some room!

Chorus

Yo, live nigga shit know what I mean

I represent while we gettin' money and reign supreme

Hope you niggas know we comin' through full steam

Can't see you better turn on your high beam

All my niggas while I'm ringing the sireen

Flipmode be the glory niggas on my team

Never should you ever try to fuck wit' my cream

I O.D when my shit get all in your bloodstream

Everytime we be rippin' it be blowing it down

Blowing you off fuckin' wit' the hottest niggas around

Like it's when me and my people run through your town

Holdin' it down takin' a while and then gimme my crown

Ay, yo! All my people need to come and surround

A nigga be hittin' so much it make you fall on the ground

Sure to make you shout that's what I be all about

Turnin' you out makin' all you niggas fall out!

Chorus

These days it seems this is all I have time for...a protein shake, some granola and a mug of tea. But at least it's healthy, even if it is portable. :)

And the Slimfast is not for dieting...it just happens to be my favorite tasting one. I hate the term dieting - I prefer eating healthy to going without.

Not my favorite place, but I braved the ordeal and the mammogram. Afterward I went to LIR for 30 mins of line dance class. Elaine R went upstairs with me as I drank my Slimfast. Then I attended a class, “Explore Algeria.”

When I came home and checked the weather channel, I found that Hurricane Ian is looking pretty bad. Not sure how the rain & water will affect our New England trip.

I facilitated the class of 7 in our exercises. After changing into street clothes, I drove to the senior center & drank my SlimFast. I worked on my Hawaii Photo Journey for 30 minutes. Next I attended Beginner Line Dance class. Betty Rose gave me a t-shirt w/a nice saying on the front. After class I picked up a few things at Publix before driving home. Jim brought us BK Whoppers.

My friend, Linda, taught our Range of Motion class. I was pleased. Then Carol & I ordered out Peach State Summer Theater tickets. Next I met Linda at the Senior Center to eat the lunches we’d brought. A lady gave each of us a big bag of Valentine’s candy. Just what I needed. NOT!! I had brought a Slimfast and V-8 juice for my lunch. flic.kr/p/2n3PXXV

The set of office buildings on Chepstow Street certainly brought about many attempts to get some reflections of the street and of the people in front.

The distortions made us all look like we were on Slim Fast or something ;)
