The fawns ears are coming up in response to mom getting alert to my presence.
White-tailed Deer with two fawns on beach of seaweed. Had to make some very quick decisions on focal point. I chose the fawns. What do you think?
Rotting seaweed was the key factor in the 80 shots I got of these little guys. If you could bear the stench! Other factors? Many mistakes in the past of getting too excited and not thinking clearly. Swivel seat on stool. I did not have to make big motion to point in their direction. Full gilly suit with headcover. For next time? I have to work on odor suppression and look into how hunters do this. My wife will love that also.
