I fondly remember when Joey always slept on my bed. Today he only sleeps whenever he wants to and doesn't like to be constrained indoors. ☹️
This little kitten is one of three - he/she was taking a little nap after playtime with his/her siblings.
I think you'll agree he/she is sooooo cute!
****DEAR ALL, SAD NEWS, THIS KITTEN HAS NOW PASSED - VERY, VERY UPSETTING****
Unfortunately I am not. It has been a dreadful week. On Monday a colleague and friend (the one I go to the theatre with) fell over a work and broke both of her wrists (Colles fractures). She is still in hospital waiting a second operation which hopefully will take place today. She is such a lively and popular person, we are all devastated.
Sorry I am not around much - I am still so so busy
I took so many shots of Little Joey as a kitten and found some that were never uploaded to Flickr. This is one of them - sleeping in my bedroom a day after I adopted him. :-)
Shot with my former EOS 450D and an EF-S 60mm f/2.8 Macro USM lens. Bounced flash was used to create a soft effect.
Sleeping kitty......needle felting is a method creating 3D sculptures without using water. The special needles used have notches along the shaft of the needle to catch the fibres to tangle them together to make felt. There are many sizes of needles and notches that are used to create felted sculptures. Merino, Corriedale, core and batts, are used
Accomplished writer that I am, I can't describe in words how adorable my little girl kitty Claudia looks when she's sleeping.
I have to show you.
One picture is worth a thousand words. :-)
more below: I will post pictures of Kittens today because I have no other digital pictures to share and I am too lazy to scan some from a dwindling stack of film I had developed recently.
I am dreaming of my mom. The little kitten secretly told me.
This is the kitten taken at Richmond Centre Pet Store.
Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers!
One of my sister's kittens decided that the wooden chair was the best place for it to take a snooze. I didn't want to wake it up, so I just photographed the kitty there and then.
Camera used: EOS 7D Mark II + EF-S 17-55mm f/2.8 IS USM.
Major inroads for Kaiser this week. On Wednesday he went upstairs. Unfortunately, he tried to come down far too quickly and tumbled down like a snowball going down a mountain. I was at the top of the stairs and could do nothing but squeeze my eyes shut and hope for the best. Our stairs are wooden and open! Anyway he was none the worse for his acrobatic roll. His next attempt was taken a lot more cautiously and now, although it takes a huge effort to climbed the stairs, it is his new 'game'. Also he has found our bedroom!! When Phill is away I always leave the door open for Mojo. Last night Kaiser found "The Big Bed". And don't you know it's great fun having games at 4.00am in the morning - lol. Luckily I have today off work as we are going to visit family this weekend as it is my mother's 83rd birthday on Sunday and we are having a big family celebratory lunch.
Anyway Happy Furry Friday to you all
Hope you all have a fab weekend:-)
Here is mother cat, Bianca, and one of her kittens, both sleeping. Mama cat makes such a nice pillow, We had them both in foster care. The kitten is one of four. They have all since been adopted.
As kittens Fatty and Lil' Grey loved to sleep in dad's work boots. Somehow Lil' Grey felt more comfortable with her leg extended outside the boot! Too funny!
Thanks to Bob Mory for giving me the perfect title for this picture.... Pawer napping.
Elijah dancing in his dreams!
One of the snow leopard kittens at Brookfield Zoo. I am renting the Tamron SP 150-600mm f/5.6-6.3 Di VC USD Lens for Nikon and decided to give it a go at the zoo. Love it! Sharpness isn't always quite what I would like, but still an awesome lens!

Nature is a beautiful thing. It brought me this gorgeous little kitty. This is Paris. I happen to catch her sleeping on the stairs and just HAD to get the shot. I hope all my Flickr Friends enjoy this photo as much as I do!
Have a great Sunday!
This is a foster kitten that "ran out of gas" while playing. Little kitten are still babies and need their sleep, They sometimes get tired while playing and quickly fall asleep. It is best to let them get the sleep that they need.
