This Female Kingfisher had just caught this minnow and was trying to stun it by slamming it against the branch several times before swallowing it whole.
Taken in Somerset.
I guess I dont need to tell you its a ants eye view of a basketball hoop and backboard, with a safety net.

This caught my eye while out and about in the city in June 2018.
A bit of 'stance' with the lowered suspension on this customisation of what looks to me like a Nissan Silvia. Of course the contrasting purple and yellows caught my eye too. Something a little different for today though I can't imagine that this is safe to drive - the front tyres have clearly been rubbing on the arches.
Just sharing one of the none-people shots I take for myself while out and about. Not something that I would usually publish. Enjoy!

I took a photo from ESPN then painted it down plus a little my imagination. (Brushes app, on iPad.)
我從ESPN上拍下照片,加上一些我的想像再把它畫下。
Playing around on the “controversial” new multi-sport court at Grinstead Park, Brisbane. Twirling around a Denis Smith made lightflute CH48, connected via LPB Universal Connector to a warm white Convoy S2+ flashlight. Backlighting through railings from a Convoy L6 (on 33%/high mode) on tripod. Post processed from 20sec RAW exposure in Adobe Lightroom 6.
Caught this Little Egret fishing today, interesting to watch the habits and techniques of different birds hunting and how they gather food! :)

Quirky Milky Way pic from the back yard of the shack at Binalong Bay.
At this time of the year, the core is right overhead at true dark and the hoop is lit by street-lighting a little way off - it's not p'shopped in either - that's why the basket is OOF. The Zeiss is spectacular but it's not that good :-)

Juvenile European Kingfisher (Alcedo Atthis) killing a miniature fish
NB Kingfishers kill their prey by hitting it hard on a solid surface like a branch, that's what you see here
An antique shop bike spied while wandering through the narrow lanes of Yuasa's old town. Wakayama, Japan.
The guide book suggested the laneway was a section of the Kii Road and once part of the Kumano Kodo trail.
Not sure of the fork rake angle on the bike but it's way slacker than my Honzo and the seat is slammed all the way down. Remarkable really given the town itself is relatively flat :-)
Leica Q2 Monochrom, Summilux 28/1.7 ASPH, 1/40th sec at f/1.7, ISO 200.
Have realised from those camera settings exactly how dark (late blue hour) it was and again, how well the Q2M handles low light.
Went out wit the guys from T2Detectives today whilst they had a photo shoot of Paul's amazing slammed VW Brasilia.
This amazing bay window is owned by one of guys from the garage in Burwell.
Thanks goes to the Detectives allowing me to tag along and take a few pictures in the fens. I'll be looking out for the next edition of the magazine for some of the new pics the guys took with suction pads, cantilevered tripods and pocket wizards (I felt complete;y out of my depth).
The sky was all overcast so as usual shot in HDR to bring it all out. Added some vignette and boosted contrast to get something that I liked. Hoe you like it?
