Hello everyone,

This little beetle scooted itself around the bloom while lying on its side which was hilarious to watch. That day was awfully hot, so I think the bug had the right idea.

Thanks a million for stopping by and for leaving a comment. I do love hearing from you!

Have a wonderful day!

Sunset with fog. Was trying to capture the Golden Gate Bridge from the other side of the mountain. But it was all covered with fog, so we have to walk back all the way to Slacker Hill.

Crunchin an munchin only on those cold rainy days.

Slacker Hill, Marin Headlands

Labor Day weekend delivered low fog, and stunning sunsets. This was taken Saturday morning August 31st.

It was a beautiful night at Slacker Hill under the full moon with the fog rolling in... this is one of my favorite places in the Bay Area.

Out playing with my new/old glass. This guy was practicing walking on 5cm to 10cm wide nylon strap, I think it is called slack lining. Talk about a core work out!

Here's a view from the Slackers Hill from my first ever visit to this place. The hike sounds pretty easy, 0.4 miles to the hill top but that's not the case. I have seen people walking up the hill with a bottle of water without stopping anywhere. I take atleast 6 stops to make it to the top with all my gear and atleast two 500ml water bottle. Thanks to all the loads we carry on our back...

There ain't no app for that.

Taken from my quadcopter about 150 feet above Slacker Ridge.

After staying home for two days because I am sick, I went back to school this morning and found this little treat on my desk. I'm lucky to have some very sweet students. :)

On a side note -Thank you to all who have been paying attention to my photos, even though I've been a slacker. I hope to catch up on photos this weekend. I've been way too busy. Have a great weekend!!

The view of the Golden Gate Bridge from Slacker hill is one of my favorite ones, the cars etch out their sweeping light trails on the side of the mountain as the bridge stretches out in to the distant city.

But who ever came up with the name Slacker Hill clearly didn't think much of hiking almost straight up a hill for 15 minutes, 'cause that doesn't feel like slacking to me at all.

...smoking a cig' on the tracks.

This sign is at the end of a little dead end street in my brother neighborhood of Seattle (Magnolia). The other side of the sign says no one is allowed past the sign. Directly behind me is this bluff.
