SkyWatcher Equinox Pro 80ED, Lunt Herschel Wedge, Altair Hypercam IMX178, Best 85% of 150 Frames processed in PIPP and Registax, Coloured in Photoshop. Sunspots 2654 (R) and 2655 (M)
Taken with a Skywatcher ED80 Refractor and a Canon 600D at prime focus. Protected by using a Baader Astrosolar Filter on the telescope. Best 15 of 40 images stacked in Registax 6. Seeing average but lots of light cloud about. Very Hot and Humid.
I think I need a larger scope for Mars, Just getting to old to be dragging it out!

My new toy for deep sky imaging plus I think it will be more suitable for the mount that I have got.
2 variants are presented here - the traditional LRGB which is using UV/IR-cut filter as luminance channel (standard details and natural colors) and RRGB which is using red filter as luminance channel (finer details, unnatural colors)
Sky-Watcher Evostar 72ED + Baader LRGB filter set + Barlow 3x + ZWO ASI120MM-S. Pre-processed using PIPP, stacked using cvAstroAlign, sharpened in RegiStax, assembled using PIPP, ImageMagick and GIMP. Post-processing in RawTherapee
Haven't had a go at the moon aside from the recent Lunar Eclipse for over a year now. I love looking at it most nights but thought this time I make myself a new memento :) Nothing special otherwise, its just for me but I share it anyway.

(I needed to increase the ISO to get shorter exposures to get a sharper image)
Mount: Nexstar Goto mount sitting on a table in front of the window
Scope: 80mm Equinox APO refractor.
Camera: Canon 650D
Barlow: 2X
Seeing conditions: terrible really despite clear skies, 90% moist in air but as its the moon, its not so much an issue.
Location: From the warmth of my living room window in Peckham, London

My canon 550D is mounted at the top of it so you can get an idea of the size.
all of my astronomy pics are done through this, im no expert though and light pollution is a bitch where i live :(
