Protestant church Katharinenkirche on the left and the center place of Frankfurt called Hauptwache on the right side. The building at the place Hauptwache is also called Haupwache. It's a former prison. In the background the highest skyscraper of Germany, the Commerzbank-Tower.

An evening with a lot of mist in the air gave me a chance to see that nice reflection from the spots atop the Place Ville-Marie (to the right), we don't see this too often so i had to park and record it. The larger skyscraper is the 1000 La Gauchetiere W.

The largest city in Oregon, the Portland metro area is home to over 2 million people. Despite being ranked just 28th in the US by population, Portland has more total breweries and microbreweries of any city in the world. It probably has more people sporting beards as well but that isn't backed up by any kind of actual statistics... though the city proudly boasts as its unofficial slogan, "Keep Portland Weird".

The Édifice Aldred (Aldred Building), also known as Édifice La Prévoyance, at 501-507 Place D'Armes, was built from 1929-1931 by Ernest Isbell Barott of Barott and Blackade for Aldred and Company Limited, a multinational finance company. The 23-floor, 97-meter tower is Montréal's first art deco skyscraper, resembling a small-scale Empire State Building, which was built the same year. The building's setbacks at the 8th, 13th, and 16th floors allow more light on the square and create a cathedral-like massing, reflecting the adjacent Notre-Dame Basilica.

The impressive high-rise apartment building located about 1 km from Moscow Kremlin was built in 1951 at Kotelnicheskaya embankment of Moskva-Reka (Moscow River) and became residence of the elite Soviet writers and artists.

I like this one, the buildings in the back look fake, like the Emerald City from the Wizard of Oz. Come to think of it, Puerto Madero is a little like the Emerald City.

Torre Espacio

The Martinelli building includes a roof-top Italian style villa, called the Casa do Comendador, that was once used as residence of the building's owner. Being the first skyscraper in the city, the owner decided to live on its roof, so that he could prove that the building would not collapse, as most of the population believed at the time. The villa hosted the most opulent parties in the cities during the 1930s and 1940s.
