A flying dieselpunk ship commanded by the mysterious Captain Brayan.

The crew of the ship consists of mechanical spider robots.

Blumenkranz flies with a specific kind of magic.

In the steampunk world, where Captain Brayan accidentally ended up, Blumenkranz has no equal in armor and firepower.

So, next airplane, this may is some kind of experiment... My aim was to create something not so smooth this time. And finally, I ended up with some kind of cyberpunk airplane. I definitely broke my rules in some points... but I hope you like it anyway.

You will find some more pics of it in my stream/profile 😊

And there it is, my newest creation. I started with the idea of combining two of my old airplanes. And after being nearly finished, I realized that at it looks a little like the Curtiss R3C-0 from Porco Rosso. 😅

Here we go, time for an airplane. This time in dark blue (i ever wanted to build one in dark blue ^^).

btw. I need a better Name, any ideas?

Let's go on with another Skyracer. I don't have a cool name right now, so if you have any idea. 😉 This one is based / highly inspired by one of my all-time favorites by Jon Hall his P-23 Skywolf. But no pirate this time, we have to be friendly in those strange times, so go on racing!!!

A romanian aircraft mostly used by hunters in this region of Carpathians where mountains merge with floating rocks.

For an upcoming project.

I build two more military looking versions of my second skyracer. But it is not a only a simple change of color, I also made some small changes according to design, functionality or or avoidance of rare pats.

So, these are the changes I made:

- changed the color scheme to be a bit more military like

- reworked the rear, now it is shorter and comes with horizontal stabilizers

- removed curved ends of the wings - added some guns to the wing section

- replaced some hard to get parts / subparts

After a long break, I continued to build my next airplane. I started the construction some month ago, but then I lost the enthusiasm for it. Some weeks ago I met Er0l and that gave me the right impulse to go on. So sty tuned for more pictures.

My latest sky-fi plane. This time I wanted to use bended wings and after I saw the new ninjago movie sets I simply had to build it in sandblue. That was some kind of "funny" challenging. Later I noticed that pearl gold is also a little bit complicated. But at the end I am very happy with the result, you too?

This build was inspired by the pejite gunship from Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind.

Swallowtail; Long-Range Surveillance aircraft

(Trivia: What... is the air-speed velocity of an unladen Swallowtail?)

CNC racing league made lots of fun, so why not do some kind of sky racing? Ok... here we go, let's start with a shape you may recognize. It's an homage to one of my previous racing ships. 😉

-see it on the ground-

High-speed multi-seat aerocar with increased fuel efficiency, thanks to an advanced aerodynamically clean body.

I really had a craving to build some sky-fi and somehow, I think it still looks like a spaceship. Go figure.

Yep, that's a mighty big wingspan. And from up here you can see the grey stripes that run all along the body. Mmm, stripes.

No Brexit but even better 🇮🇸 Iceland 😊

My last airplane, F11 - Locust, had some kind of different style. Now I had the idea to combine one of my older airplanes with that style and that's it SkyRazor 2.0 was born. While searching for a cool colour theme it hit on dark blue and the rest is fun. 😊

Next flying vehicle built for Skytopia collab at Bricking Bavaria 2019. My normal Airplanes were a little bit too large, so I had to build smaller ones. 😉

So this time a seaplane.

There it is, my latest Sky-fi plane. I had two versions of it, so I asked at Instagram and Facebook, which one I should build. This is the more realistic version most people want me to build. But hey stay tuned for my favourite, the Sky-fi version. 😁

After the cinematic edits here comes a more puristic version. Thanks for the great feedback so far!

Hello,

fourth and last VV for this novvember.

Well , I tried something different , with a diesel punk VV.

Time for a new airplane. 😁 This on based on the Macchi 156 by Cagerrin. Originally I wanted to build the original version... But when I realised how huge it is, I decided to size it down to my normal plane size. So hope you like it.

Also have a look at some details

After their impressive entrance onto the aeronautical stage in 1939 with the Caballero, the Niazi corporation found itself rolling in more looted Sverigan and Anadyran Cervantino gold than it knew what to do with.

Naturally they blew most of it betting against other engineering teams at the bar, but enough was squirreled away to begin work on the next generation of fighter plane, seen here.

Whereas the Caballero and Stupotransport were long-haulers to the extreme, the Leñadora dropped the weight of extra fuel tanks and funneled it into an irresponsible amount of engine power.

I haven't posted much on flickr lately, or at least publicly, but I am still alive and most definitely still building. I have been focused on a pretty cool collab project for Brickworld Chicago, which hopefully some of you will get to see in person (only 3 weeks to go!!!).

This airplane MOC was an impulse build that I built a day or two ago. I had been canabalizing my original Ma.K Platypus for parts, and then something sparked the idea of making a sky-fi airplane out of remaining scrap heap chassis. I'm pretty pleased with the result. That said, I'm open to any suggestions for improvement. Thanks.

The Aurora System, famous for its gravitational anomalies, produced some of the most unique aircraft in human space. This Libelle flying engine, built by the renowned Löffelschmitt works, was designed for vertical take-off and landing. Its astonishing fuel consumption made it mostly a plaything of Aurora V's aristocracy.

The notorious Baron Keinfunkenverstand fell to his death from the Libelle shown here in GE 2307, after which the craft was lovingly restored by a grateful populace.

For more photos, see the full set.

Perhaps the most famous of the Red Squadron fighters, here we see Delilah in her original livery, complete with the blue and white stripes of the Daytona Battalion of the Floridian Free Fleet.

The photograph is particularly poignant as it is the last of engineer Michelle "Mickey" McMullen before she was killed in action in the skies above Tortuga.

This was another very fun model to create. It started with a pretty drab color scheme until the idea to try a checkerboard pattern hit me. Through the trial and error of balancing aesthetics and color limitations I settled on red with black and white checkerboards, plus the occasion orange highlight. All in all I am super happy with this model. It has a huge wingspan of about 75 cm with a smattering of play features. Including; a full interior, spinning propellers, retractable landing gear and posable control surfaces. Even the wings are able to hold themselves up via the magic of mixel joints.

The Heli-Pod was a small, fast and highly manoeuvrable synchropter. Its primary use was as a search aircraft, equipped with its radar and spotlight. Whilst it was too small to perform rescues, the Heli-Pod could quickly find people in distress. Its jolly appearance brought a bit of joy to many a bedraggled sailor as he bobbed around in the sea.

SKYTOPIA is a fantastic world above the clouds.

The people there travel with pimped out motor planes, but also with airworthy ships. With these they jet between narrow, spear shaped mountains, which are surrounded by a dense cloude cover.

This year's RogueBricks Collab for the Bricking Bavaria Exhibition brought us into a fantasy world in airy heights, heavily influenced by various Dieselpunk concept arts. A total of seven talented builders from our community have been working on this project:

Johannes (Vaionaut)

Marcel (Marcel V.)

Mark (steentje)

Markus (rolli)

Thomas (Sylon)

The Swift was a famous "Airship" class air racing 'plane. This class were unlimited in engine power and other design criteria and intended for stratospheric race courses. The competitors were launched and recovered from large airships. These also functioned as pit-stops, with arms to grapple the aircraft into hangars under the gas envelope.

Lacking landing gear helped to make the aircraft lighter and faster. With the Swift, this was carried to extremes. The cockpit featured no instruments, in order to save weight. Heat from the aeroplane's engines could be felt through the cockpit seat and throttle adjustments were made on this basis. It is believed that this is where the expression "Flying by the seat of your pants." originates.
