"Haha, ha, haha…… what a great story!!!", said Red, "you being
BOO.…"
"Yeaah, it was big fun that photoshoot", laughed White.
Model: Origami Skull Ring

When you fold this model with a bigger paper, you get a napkin holder instead of a small ring. I thought it would be a nice variation ;-))
'Red' is folded from a 15x15cm red foil and 'White', AKA "BOO", with some kind of foldable metal gauze, 20x20cm. One can fold a simple model, like this one, with this strange material. I like the effect, but it is a bit jumpy as you see with the eyes.

Wearing the proper silver skull ring I had made many years ago in deference to the one worn by Rolling Stone guitarist Keith Richards.
We're Here looks into Skulls today.

Please - NO INVITES and AWARDS from now on - Thank you...
Thank you all again for the best wishes and messages and Taty is sending you her love. She is getting better bit by bit and still sleeping a lot while I am working again.
This photo was taken from the ring she got as a present a few days ago and I think there is something strange in it. Perhaps the ring has taken some of the crystal skulls energy.
Wishing to all of you in the US a very happy Thanks Giving Holiday, and to all friends from around the world a great Thursday from me Willem and Taty
No Post Processing used - no treatments, no cropping, and as is from the camera. The only thing added is the water marks - signature.
Theme Rules:
It's time to explore this quieter, darker side of beauty. Moody photography is all about intense emotion and eliciting a reaction from the viewer. Limited highlights and abundant shadows can convey a dark, gloomy, or even haunting feel in low lit rooms or twilight landscapes. Perhaps your doll is exploring black and white photography to create a dramatic or melancholy portrait. Maybe your doll is pairing high contrast and rich colors to create a moody, rustic food editorial. Or maybe your dolls’ wedding photos are a perfect blend of deep shadows and subdued colors to create a romantic, shabby atmosphere. How you approach this theme is entirely up to you. Just be sure to create a feeling of drama using contrast between the shadows and light in the image.
About this photo:
X-MEN's Mystique in her lair. I debated on color or b&w for this theme, but I ultimately decided to stick with color. The goal here was to create something a bit on the dark side but maintain rich hues. I chose this doll because of her vibrant red hair. Even with darker lighting, it still looks bold. She's such a gorgeous doll, and I absolutely love her in this blue Bold for Opulence Vanessa dress!

Oops, wrong reference. :-)
Doll rings have this annoying tendency to get lost. Skulls are not the most innovative fashion element either.
Still, Imogen's ring is pretty nice.

Showing off my new skull ring in the blessed name of Keith Richards. My sister asked when I got so badass and why I am getting into wearing things with skulls on them. I said I felt like I have died several times in the past and the skulls speak to me now.
One time when I visited my doctor after a hospital stay, he remarked that he was surprised that I had not been rolled out of the hospital on a gurney. And this was before my six month stay nursing a sepsis infection.
Selfie was taken with a Canon 60D using the LED display flipped around so I could see the framing.
The skull ring in "action" as I strike what I think is a contemplative pose but is more of a perplexed look.

I remember getting these at school fun fairs and maybe out of vending machines in the early 1990s. More on these at the link below:
