skotjay: @dawndilion @dawndilion If you head east on Pine St., it ends at 37th Ave. You can, however, continue east, if you're on foot. There's a hidden (steeply dropping) concrete foot path that heads east. It crosses 38th Ave, then Grand Ave, then Madrona Dr. Between Madrona Dr. & Evergreen Pl, the land drops very far, then recovers back to level. It's at this point that the wooden bridge path is used. It's awesome! I LOVE exploring and finding things like this!! Hope that helps you find it.
dawndilion: That is awesome. And tucked in the heart of Seattle. You really have been out to get to know your new area. I've lived here over 21 years & you've seen 4 times as much as I have.
skotjay: @dawndilion I'm really enjoying exploring the city! I also love spending a very relaxed day with no schedule walking around, without concern as to whether or not I'm making good time or not. We also made the conscious decision not to have a car. It slows you down (which to us is a good thing) and makes you see more of the city, whether your walking, cycling, or using the metro.
