skotjay: @mimiwings Thanks! @raf901 I hate Facebook. You can ask my wife @candykay, this is not a new opinion for me. Every second I have to spend figuring out how it works, is a second wasted. More so because as soon as I do, they'll change it all up with a new design. And really, when was the las time Facebook made changes to something and your reaction was, "Wow! This changes are AWESOME!" The single, solitary, one and only reason I have a FB account is that I have everything set up to post to it automatically (Twitter, Instagram, etc.) so that my family can see it. #2 and this is the real doozie. I can't see what FB would want with Instagram other than to fold it into FB somehow, or shut it down outright, and acquire the talent from it, despite what Zuck says... Your thoughts?
mimiwings: Oh I totally feel the exact same way!! I never even had a Facebook until about 6 mos ago, an the ONLY reason I got one was to play scrabble with my best girl friend. I've only checked it once of twice. I really hope nothing changes here at IG. I have made some wonderful friendships aside from having a creative outlet. The whole thing sucks

raf901: I've always had an issue with Facebook's privacy track record. And deep embedded in its Terms of use, turns out you sign a lot away. I've never been a huge fan and the only use I have for it is sharing my stuff with my family and making fun of people I used to go to school with. Ultimately, what FB has achieved is quite admirable - connecting close to a third of the human race on its network. But as everything, once a corporation gets big it loses it's way. In buying out IG, I can see how FB caught unto IGs success, saw it as an extension of what they do and scooped them up. It's a good move for any tech company to get something like IG. But it makes us all wonder what the true cost will be

I'd like to publicly say that I'm sorry, to my wife Candace. I don't know how it happened, it just sorta did. I wasn't paying attention, and had some time to kill. So I went into the first place that looked from the street to have a comfy place to sit, drink coffee and kill time while I read. You know I would never purposely go into a desert shop without you. Having said that, I think I'm gonna stay here, and we're gonna see if we can't make a go of it. SIDE NOTE: my Instagram feed will now be nothing but pics like this. skistz: Same body style. GTO was an option on the Tempest/LeMans in 64-65 and it's own line from 66-71 and back to an option from 72-74. Goats got bigger engines and slightly different trim and styling. I dig your car...looks like a convert?

I won't knock him, he's riding on something moved by his own power, and not driving a military grade SUV down to the corner. Here, that's progress!

If you all could speak Finnish oh boy would it be fun and very easy to me I only meant that I don't know why it is better to lie than be up when having a bicycle. (And where is the dictionary? What does 'recumed' or 'grade SUV' mean? )
skotjay: Ha! Oh, I did not take offense at all. I was more making fun of the USA driving HUGE cars/trucks even for one person to get groceries. Recumbent is a position, laying down. SUV is a "Sport Utility Vehicle," a fancy word for "I need a big truck to feel like a big man."
kristiinah: 15 years ago an actor in my theatre, just graduated from theatre school, young and talented was in a motorbike accident. Near his home, no speed at all, appr 30km/h. Not his fault. He fell down and was paralyzed down from his waist. He had always had a dream with his cousin that some day they'd go to New Zealand with bikes and go round. Quess what? They did it! My colleague had a special (lying) bike made for him, he used his arms instead of his legs.

As the film progressed, my thoughts were that she was 1) nuts, then by the time she was in the barn doing her neck-dance 2) possessed, until the went to visit Logan in the café, then I thought she was 3) nuts because she had obviously been invited to some weird sexy-time party with bible-belters, whereby she had been used in a sexual manner by any number of miscreants, then when she had the glowy-red demon-baby, I figured she was 4a) possessed 4b) carrying a demon baby 4c) nuts because (see 4a and 4b).

Rush Limbaugh is pretty much required listening where I'm from, at around 14 (when his television show aired at 3:30pm) I blurted out, "this guy is full of shit!" Not only did I get in trouble, which I expected. Absolutely no one shared my viewpoint, which, at the time, surprised me. Do this day, I wonder if something might be hard wired into my head that made me want to watch Rachel Maddow every night (and listen to her radio show before that, and on "Unfiltered" with Chuck D before that).
