Colgan High School Sharks girls flag football team defeated Battlefield High School Bobcats 24-6 Wednesday in the second game of a doubleheader, following an earlier 32-0 win over Osbourn Park High School. Colgan built an early lead and maintained control throughout the match. The Sharks are now 3-0 on the season following a victory over Patriot High School on Monday. This season marks the inaugural year for girls flag football in Prince William County, with 12 of 13 high schools fielding teams.
