Singapore’s National Museum has just received a makeover, but the new colours can only be seen at night. Its new facade is actually a light projection. It is created by an Australian company, aptly called "Electric Canvas". The group specialises in large—scale light effects on historic buildings. It also gave the Singapore Art Museum a "fresh makeover". It is all part of the country’s first Night Festival, which is expected to draw over 10,000 spectators.

The one above is just one of the light paint-over effect. I guess my favourite among the rest since it looked as if the windows and mouldings of the museum has been sketched by chalk.

bought myself a nice iced coffee and sat at SHOTS cafe at Club street sketching away. A young man who works at the cafe was so nice that he offered me a second coffee free of charge after looking at my sketch. I will definitely come back for another sketch. — at Shots Café

First sketches and models for the Time Machine, a new interactive art project created by Pataphysical Studios.

In this brainstorm session, each team member sketched out their own ideas, then discussed them with the group, to design our upcoming time travel experience together.

Next, we plan to create a composite design with some of these ideas, to integrate them into a single blueprint.

To be continued ...

Sketching at the Lego council now. The rally is against the NE development of HK. If the project is approved, the Hong Kong-China border will be effectively dissolved, leaving Hong Kong defenceless against any form of China's aggression.

Solo Exhibition

November 2005

This view of iconic Sugarloaf was sketched from the plaza of the famous Christo Redemptor statue that overlooks the city. Our time here was short, resulting in this simplified line sketch of coastline, landforms and architecture. I will add watercolor in the studio.

Drew this about 10 years ago. This is why it took me so long to get through calculus. I thought my hand was more interesting than it was...
