Page 2 of my new moleskine sketchbook.

It is really difficult for me to show any of my sketches because they are so quick and rough. I don't like to do a lot of preplanning for my prints. My drawing abilities aren't really all that, but I am sketching every day now to improve them and keep the ideas flowing.
I am too scared to put it on the moleskin community that I lurk on.
Sketch on my iPhone with my finger using Paper FiftyThree: not easy: need to try a stylus on my iPad.
I discovered this old sketch that I had drawn way back in 1976 while cleaning out some old files, and thought what the hell may as well crank up the old beast once again and put it in the Showroom.

education week was this week, so we spent a lot of time in ebeye. i haven't done a lot of ebeye sketches so i tried to get a few in. i'm still working on two more, but the interest from the kiddos usually keeps me from being able to finish. the kids at our high school like them too, i like watching them go through the sketches and figure out where i was sitting in each one.
a technique I learned from a tutorial a few years ago, I found this tag in my files and added color to the eyes. Also found a quote to add.
4 little sketches of the square deserted by very soft rain falling... a bike, always standing at the first floor window.... The Art café in the distance.... The art café with the empty terrasse... and a lonely guy.
