The weather during the 15 days over the landscape just outside Barbezieux. Nature is happy with the humidity, drops of rain, and contribute to the watercolor.
La météo de la quinzaine sur la campagne autour de Barbezieux. La nature semble tout à fait satisfaite. de fines goutellettes de pluie viennent apporter leur contribution à l'aquarelle.

This is a sketch of my sons name. I find that when I'm trying to develop my style it sometimes really good to do other words as it helps to break out of a rut that you can often get into with youur own.
I want to start adding more sharp edges and straight lines to my usual flowing, swingy letters, i feel it gives it a different dynamic and some more strength.
I like how these letters sit and balance together, I think I might paint a few Jack pieces for the little guy, maybe he can help me fill :)

First sketches and models for the Time Machine, a new interactive art project created by Pataphysical Studios.
In this brainstorm session, each team member sketched out their own ideas, then discussed them with the group, to design our upcoming time travel experience together.
Next, we plan to create a composite design with some of these ideas, to integrate them into a single blueprint.
To be continued ...

It is really difficult for me to show any of my sketches because they are so quick and rough. I don't like to do a lot of preplanning for my prints. My drawing abilities aren't really all that, but I am sketching every day now to improve them and keep the ideas flowing.
I am too scared to put it on the moleskin community that I lurk on.
Work in progress. ^^ My most recent sketch in my journal. Lan Ai and Lan Ake. I realised too late that their hands were in the crease. I'm sure I can't ink this in my journal (the other side has another drawing), so I am trying to see if I can do lineart in Photoshop instead, which is quite insane actually... especially since I can't stay on the computer too long doing this.. I'd prefer to use SAI but my trial expired. ^^; I started to do the line art, but it might take me forever. My arm now hurts. :(
Someday I'll post the finished one here...maybe. but it will be a very long time from now! ^^;
Oh and hey look, it's a scan! ;3
