There may be a series in the lurk here for "tough guys." This one came from www.mugshots.com, where convicts, FBI most wanted, prisoners, and other bad people are posted. I'm not interested in their names or their crimes, only their faces.

These experiments are exploring the possibilities of the book as a physical object, rather than as an intimidating text. I began to pull the book apart and look at it from unusual angles and in this way take control of the book in a liberating and visual way. I found these development works really exciting, perhaps the first time i have been excited about a book.

sketchbooks i made using mini folders, blank scratch paper, and hand drawn cut-out creatures on the covers. i would love to trade these if anyone wants one :)

For the most part I use a Pentel Pocket Brush pen. www.jetpens.com/product_info.php/cPath/221_433/products_i...

I also use Copic markers, Copic Multi-Liners, PITT inking pens, and Prismacolor colored pencils.

these are all just pictures of the drawings in my sketchbook.

Dirty Dancing, watercolour.

This is a page from my current sketchbook/ journal. I have recently set about trying to recreate the space and depth of drawings in 3D. Magnus Plessen draws with huge swathes of paint and by masking off areas, my drawings on the left are little experiments for arrangements using space, depth and light.
