Sketchbook diary entry, April 16th. Having a cup of tea at the corner café while waiting for the bus to arrive. Outside were two people - probably a mother and her son - having a sandwich at a table on the sidewalk. I found the street scene more interesting though, as you can probably tell from the treatment.
This is Århus, Denmark, and the church is Saint Pauls.

Sketchbook diary entry, May 6th. Scottish longhair/longhorn cattle. There was no rock or log to perch on, and the ground was too humid for sitting, so I drew these standing up with the sketchbook in my hand. Graphite in Moleskine sketchbook.
