This is a drawing I did for the Cartoon Art Museum Sketch-a-Thon at the San Diego Comic-Con 2011 which did not sell so the museum let me borrow and scan it.

I did a series of drawings of Disney Princesses who were "kick butt". Here is a new princess, Tiana from the 'Princess and the Frog'. I did drawings of Belle and Aurora too.

At this writing the drawing is for sale for a $10+ donation to the Cartoon Art Museum.

I had a 1.5 hours before meeting Paul, Parka and Si-Y and so I went into crazy mode to try to get myself in the groove (I have not been able to do a sketchathon for many many months…and didn't feel like my sketching reflex was in gear yet) The two buildings I was very keen to sketch are under extensive renovations so I sketched the cricket club instead. Apart from the obvious missing of my family by being away on my own over Christmas – I also miss the cricket!?! (tragic I know!…but I can live without it)… the Boxing Day test in Melbourne and the Sydney New Years test are part of summer for me! So it was nice to have a cricket club to sketch.

Sketch #20 from Sketchathon with adding sequins and ISD 2015 Leslie's Gold glitter Challenge at Counterfeit Kit challenge

My Scraps & More Sketchathon #12 with stamping; Turtle Soup NSD Mini Crop - Karen's Selfies - These are pictures of me last December just before we left for a Christmas party. I hadn’t had my hair done for a long time so Steve told me to go get it done for the party. I took these selfies because for once I actually looked good since I also hadn’t dressed up in a very long time either. My stamping is the title that I fussy cut after stamping. I used washi tape for my borders.

Materials – Sketch – Tina Gale; Patterned Papers, Stickers – My Mind’s Eye; Brads – Bo Bunny; Pens – Omni Gel, Sharpie, Infinity; Cord – Unknown; Bling – Doodlebug Designs

I drew this for the Cartoon Art Museum fund raiser at the SDCC 2009. The client wanted multiple sketches of the same character and so actually bought 14 drawings with all proceeds going to help the Cartoon Art Museum in San Francisco.

Thanks Gordon. Hope to see you next year.
