A new project started two months ago: my first #sketchaday on #creditcardsize paper. Different techniques and different types of paper.

For Thanksgiving this year, we decided to give to those in need... A is for Asparagus, B is for Beans, C is for Corn...etc. Giving can be fun!
The woman started as a sketch of a picture I saw where a girl was leaning on something. The rest of it was just madness. Man sees woman defying physics. Man wants woman. Woman breaks man's heart like a law of the universe.
I just saw some lady at the airport when I got off the plane. She made me write this. There's 2 versions of the poem on there. I'll put the final one here.
Look for love
in the arrivals
at the airport.
Lady's eyes
wet binocular lenses
slack body
an empty sail
waiting to be filled
hand out
like the man atop
the mast
looking for land.
Etta lived alone since she left Roger for drinkin'. His friends were loud, too. Being a nervous mouse, she was glad for the years of peace and quiet.
