This is from my Friday excursion to The Field Museum in Chicago where I did some illustrating for a scientist there. On my "break", what do you think I did?? Took photos, and, kept on drawing! I love wandering around that museum and sketching. I bet there are a lifetime of sketches to be had there.

Something a little different and the challenge of something I've not attempted before - light. These wonky deco-esque letters are above the elevators in an older building on campus. I love the signs so much.
