This was done for a ZOOM presentation for college & high school students interested in pursuing a career in Architecture. An wanted to encourage the digital generation about the importance of the skill of sketching as a way to communicate visually. An used the photo as a slide in my presentation.

I made this sketch book based off Peg and Awl's tutorial and a new design by the owner Margaux. I have made several sketch books using their tutorial, but this open binding design was something she posted a picture of and I had to figure out how she did it. I'm not sure if they are exactly the same, but I am so happy with how mine turned out. The nice thing about mine is that I can snip the threads when the book is complete and reuse the leather for another book The sketchbook inside will remain intact.

This is Wongi Wilson's Sketch Book. He told me that some of the pictures look unfinished as they were supposed to represent sketches not paintings. I like the photo and piece of paper sticking out between the pages.
