This is Wongi Wilson's Sketch Book. He told me that some of the pictures look unfinished as they were supposed to represent sketches not paintings. I like the photo and piece of paper sticking out between the pages.

this is another sketch for the book of linoleum prints i am making....
there is a train line between montreal and quebec city that every night the ghosts of two old hoboes cross paths ..you can hear them whispering their love for each other under the hum of the engine ..trapped on opposite tracks never to reunite...only a glimpse as the two trains creak by each other in the dark

I started skecthing these roofers last time I was up the tower but then they started their lunch break.
I turned off the bells that ring the quarter hour before I went up to the belfry. I forgot about the chimes for each hour. When it chimes 11 o’ clock and the bell is a metre from your head it gives you a shock!
Ink and regular color pencils on paper.
I wanted to add just some colors on it, so i could leave the skecth lines just as i drew em.
The Windsor Plantation house was completed in 1861. The mansion survived the civil war but was destroyed by an accidental fire in 1890. All was lost except for the columns and ironwork. Judging from the columns that remain and the skecth of the manson on the information board on-site it was a large and very beautiful mansion. A shame that it did not survive.
Looking at the columns they are made of brick and then coated with plaster or cement and given a fluted design. The capitals are ornately decorated iron. There is also iron lattices connecting the columns.
As always, your comments and faves are appreciated. Constructive criticism and suggestions are especially welcome as I believe they help to make me a better photographer. Thank you for taking the time to look at my photos.
