Dann wankt er kopfschüttelnd zurück zur Kasse, um den Kasten Bier gegen ein Sixpack Jack Daniels umzutauschen.

Am 24. Januar hab' ich mir eingebildet, ich könnte ja zum Sonnenuntergang wieder mal aufs Maximilianeum... vor der Auffahrt standen aber schon die Barrikaden und dahinter zwei »Sixpacks« der Polizei... also ist's stattdessen diese Golden Hour Aufnahme mit Social Distance und sonst leerer Maximiliansbrücke geworden.

In mid-1969, the A12 package was introduced on the Super Bee. It included a 390 hp (291 kW) version of the 440 with three 2bbl Holley carburetors on an aluminum intake manifold, a black fiberglass lift-off hood secured with metal pins, heavy-duty suspension, and 15-inch steel wheels with no hubcaps or wheel covers. The hood had an integrated forward-facing scoop which sealed to the air cleaner assembly and bore a decal on each side with the words "SIX PACK" in red letters, "Six Pack" being the name used for the 6-bbl induction setup when installed on a Dodge (Plymouth went with "440 6bbl" on the A12 Road Runners). The A12 Super Bee could be had with most Super Bee options, with the exception of air conditioning and tire-wheel packages. The A12 option was a 1969-only package, but the 440 6bbl returned in 1970 as an optional engine on the Super Bee. This engine option was exclusive to the Super Bee and not available on any other Coronet.

After what can only be described as a nerve testing and frustrating day of back and forth driving and futile waiting, I was granted one shot of redemption of an eastbound Pan Am freight crossing the Merrimack River in Haverhill, Ma. A pair of CSX reject B40-8s, a pair of C40-8s, and two GP40s make up the power as they slowly cross over the bridge. The power consists of MEC 5956, 5967, 7534, 7541, 381, and 313. While this shot is far from perfect given the railing covering the trucks and lack of nose light, at least the weather played along well and the location has something to offer.
