The Three Sisters from Echo Point. Blue Mountains NSW Australia.

Whenever we are up in the mountains we always have to do the rounds - in case I missed something, or just to check that it's still there? I don't know why, but I always like to see the Three Sisters, maybe it's because I don't live up there and it may be the last time I get to see everything. I don't have too many shots of the sisters as we are usually there at the wrong time of day or it's too crowded. The prime reason we go to the mountains is for relaxation, fresh air - which we get a fair bit of down here, but it doesn't smell the same - you know that lovely eucalypt smell, especially at this time of year being spring. Which we are missing out on - yet another beautiful season of the year. But I do have my memories, and sometimes when I go through my shots I may come across one and I will grab hubby and say - Hon, look at this, and he will come over and say, yeah! I remember that, with a nostalgic look on his face. Being a beach boy, I am glad he misses the mountain trips as much as I do, well almost as much. It just makes each visit even more special.

Hope everyone is having a wonderful day today, and if things are not going well, try to focus on one of those special moments in your life and remember that there will be more of those on their way.

My sister and I went out for a sunset walk, and the sky ended being pretty impressive that evening.

Sister vessels "A2B Future" & "A2B Comfort" outbound Rotterdam right after another

Another glorious day on the Sussex coast. The Seven sisters are a wonderful sight in all weathers and they were looking good in the sun. 3 walkers give some scale.

V and I being mermaid during the boat tour, it was fun seeing the different type of boat and awesome people. Yes i did fish and yes i did get that 25 pound cod lol but really enjoy it.

Brothers and sisters looking after one another in northern Laos.

Our first night we camped in a burned section in Sisters, OR. I was very excited to get to take pictures the next day. That night a storm rolled in and we got the most glorious views.

The Three Sisters - Alderfer/Three Sisters Park, Evergreen, Colorado.

After hiking on a warm winter day, stuck around and waited for sunset. The winds were whipping pretty hard to create the small blurred effect on the bushes in the foreground. The clouds cruised right over the Three Sisters Peaks as the light lit them up.

I wanted to get the three bridges together with all three bridges landing and looking north. So I've named them the "Three Sisters" The weather was ideal yesterday with the low cloud base giving me the opportunity for a long exposure, I hope you enjoy my images, thanks again for taking the time to view and comment. The blurb and credits below was sourced from Wikipedia.

The Forth Bridge is a cantilever railway bridge across the Firth of Forth in the east of Scotland, 9 miles (14 kilometres) west of Edinburgh City Centre. It is considered an iconic structure and a symbol of Scotland (having been voted Scotland's greatest man-made wonder in 2016), and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The Forth Road bridge, opened in 1964, spans the Firth of Forth, connecting Edinburgh, at Queensferry, to Fife, at North Queensferry. It replaced a centuries-old ferry service to carry vehicular traffic, cyclists and pedestrians across the Forth

The Queensferry Crossing is a road bridge in Scotland. It was built alongside the existing Forth Road Bridge and carries the M90 motorway across the Firth of Forth between Edinburgh, at South Queensferry, and Fife, at North Queensferry, (courtesy of Wikipedia}

Yesterday they started major roadworks to the bridge, however, there were no major problems during the morning peak after the Queensferry Crossing had closed to southbound traffic for resurfacing work. Motorists travelling towards Edinburgh from Fife have been diverted onto the Forth Road Bridge while 15 metres of tarmac on the crossing is replaced.

It still looks beautiful from this standpoint

The summit of South Sister (10,363 ft – 3,158.5 m), Oregon's third-tallest peak, reflecting in the still waters of Sparks Lake, in the high Cascade Range west of Bend. The mostly tree-covered basalt promontory behind the lava flow at the center-left is called Devil's Hill (7080 ft –2,158 m). The youngest volcanic peak of the the Three Sisters, South Sister's modern structure is no more than 50,000 years old, it last erupted about 2,000 years ago, and it is considered potentially active.

Sisters snuggling. These two had been playing like crazy and then just plopped down for some needed rest.

Would any one like to have one of our first CD's. And, yea, you will be able to say in a few years!! "yes, I bought one of the first before they were well known."
