Not only is our Little Woof Woof get to celebrating the New Year today, but he is also celebrating being 19 weeks old. What a way to start the new year!

Just haning out with his bunny and sippy cup on the floor in the kitchen. There were cheerios on the ground just moments before (thus why I ran to get my camera), but he was eating them up off the tile so quickly. Which reminds me, I need to go clean my floors ;)

Sick day.

Poor little Marshmallow was woken up at 2:00 this morning with a fever and a severe case of vomitosis, so we've been having a very quiet day watching the little guy sleep in the middle of the living room.

Also, see that pink fabric Marshmallow is laying on? That's Sylvia's Christmas gift to me, however for the time being it seems to be the perfect napping blanket and so I have to wait until tomorrow afternoon to use my lovely new pink housecoat.

Might have heard this story before. Town is getting evacuated because of impending flood. Preacher is at the church when a family pulls up in a truck. "Hop in Preacher, we saved you some room."

"You go on ahead, my Lord will provide."

Later the church is flooded and Preacher is sitting on the roof when a canoe glides up. "Get in Preacher, we saved you a seat!"

"You go on, my Lord will provide."

Much later the entire church is submerged and the Preacher is hanging from the topmost branches of a nearby tree. Helicopter drops a lifeline and they are yelling for the Preacher to grab the rope!

"No need, my Lord will pro...."

Next the Preacher arrives in Heaven and asks God, "Why didn't you save me?"

"I tried. I sent you a truck, a boat, and a helicopter...why did you not reach out to accept my deliverance?"

Moral: Stop waiting for what you THINK a miracle should look like! It might be right in front of you, and you are blind to it...because it does not fit into YOUR expectations.

So this was the cake for my sister-in-law's shower. The bottles and the sippy cup are Rice Krispie treats inside. The boots are gumpaste. I glued a real bandana to the board with some adhesive spray and then covered that with clear acetate. I was surprised the milk drip survived the 2 hour delivery, though. And the baby formula can says "Milk Replacer" -- that's what Jason called it when our boys were little.

Yesterday I was showing someone my Re-ment obsession, and I noticed that the sippy cup from 'Mom's Happy Kitchen' is identical to Fox's full size Gerber one! They even did a perfect job of matching the colors!
