Backlit Adonis,using on camera reflector to lighten the shadows ....picking out the amazing iridescent scales on the base of the wings.Taken in the pre-dawn light before the risen sun.
Worth looking at large to see the individual scales....thanks.
Yesterday I posted an image of Singleshot Mountain in Glacier National Park. The mountain got its name from a story that George Bird Grinnell had dispatched a bighorn sheep with a single shot.
Well two days after I photographed the mountain, I got five bighorns with a single shot. Take that George!

from a while back wasnt to pleased with the over exposure from the windows and my ghost in the spin but as time has passed and i havnt done much lightpainting of late its become more pleasing on a revist through my archives :)

Der 2te Standpunkt etwas kitschiger, aber so war es halt mal. Das Bild ist durch die Wolken sehr unruhig und durch die Farben sieht es irgendwie unnatürlich aus. Ich habe hier Farbe entsätigt, ansonsten nichts verändert.... Meistens kommt die Frage, deshalb schreibe ich das schon mal vorweg 😊. Alle meine Bilder sind keine Basteleien, alles Singleshots 🌝
When we are visiting the Ijen Crater back in August, we found this unique natural waterfall just 5 minutes walk from our home-stay. This beautiful waterfall is in the Bondwoso area. Local people said its similar to the Niagara Falls, they call it Mini Niagara. The exact location will be in the Desa Kalianyar, Kecamatan Sempol, Kabupaten Bondowoso.
THis is my first time using the Sony A7R2, so far i'm quite impressed with the output it produce. This shot I'm using 100mm NiSI Square ND1000 filter to get the long exposure and Ray Masters Soft GND8 to cover for the sky. I'm satisfied with this combo, No color cast wen using both filters.
