Flocks were coming in from Lake Michigan. When they got the harbor mouth they would string out like this. When they got to the ice they would mill around awhile then fly off to graze somewhere. Then another flock would come in and the process would be repeated.
Well, there were more around, but I chose to feature only one in my picture.
Sounds like literal, natural selection :)

Ear on a Worm is a 16-mm colour film, with sound, shown high up on the wall. The title plays on the German expression "Ohrwurm" ("earworm"0, which refers to a song that repeats in one's head. Earworms can be triggered aurally as well as associatively. The film shows a life-size bird, a house finch, sitting on a wire for 3 minutes and 28 seconds before flying off.
Tacita Dean's art is carried by a sense of history, time and place, light quality and the essence of film itself. The focus of her subtle but ambitious work is the truth of the moment, the film as a medium and the sensibilities of the individual. Dean was nominated for the Turner Prize in 1998 on the basis of her films, drawings, photographs, audio recordings and installations. She has since been awarded the DAAD scholarship and artist residency in Berlin (2000-2001), the Aachen Art Prize (2002), the Hugo Boss Prize (2006) and the Kurt Scwitters Prize (2009). She was an artist in residence at the Getty Research Institute (2014-2015), participated in dOCUMENTA (13) in 2012 and has participated in the Venice Biennale on several occasions.

Back in the 1990's little would give me greater pleasure than a commission to rip out plastic or aluminium replacement windows and custom make and fit authentic wooden sliding sash windows. This is one of a set of four for this victorian terrace house which all had draught-stripping included
After just a single round of Player Unknown's Battlegrounds Mobile, I was hooked. The game runs well and feels authentic.
It even has that delicious tension that I love from the PC version of the game, all in a portable package I can play on
the couch or in the car.

i've been a fan of this pattern for a long time. I like how the fact that I added stitches to make it larger for someone else's foot added that wavy line of knits between the leaf panels.

The roofing material needed to be installed on flat and barrel roofs as well as changes of angle. The roofing material must also have the ability to host architectural details.
The Solution:
