This sign hangs in the men's room at church. It's your standard restroom sign required the laws in almost every state. EMPLOYEES MUST WASH HANDS BEFORE RETURNING TO WORK and all that.

I am the sole male employee of the church. Therefore, this sign is addressed solely at me.

The funny thing is, in the fine print, it says that the relevant state law only applies to FOOD SERVICE employees. Do I qualify? When I serve communion, is the bread and wine FOOD?

It's a moot point. I always wash my hands after "using the facilities" and I always wash them right before church too. Sometimes I even wash in the middle of the service.

Still, there's a part of that wants to rip down this sign just to put The Man in his place.
