This shot of one of the Three Sisters of Nauset lighthouses was taken in July 2016 when I traveled to Cape Cod for the Cape Night Photography workshop. Not sure why I waited so long to post it. I cropped this down from a larger composition and all lighting was provided by our stellar host, Tim Little.

My cousin called me and told me to rush down to the local marina because the sun was a powerful red tonight. I was lucky enough to find a perfect spot with only 4 other photographers, there must have been about 30 below me at the foot of the cliff.
As soon as the sun hid behind the mountain all the other photographers left. 20 min later I got These amazing light rays from behind the mountains right as I was finishing packing my gear and heading out.

I know Rick just shot a photo of ice dripping a few weeks ago but I have a "NEW" camera and we have had nothing but ice in central PA and I am afraid to take any camera out for fear of smashig it as I slide around. This was outside my window and I explored the continuous shoot option, took about 100 shots and finally got a drip that wasn't just a blur and had detatched itself from its stalactite.
