Only ways to get into the remote parts of the wilderness are by foot and ATV on single track roads. Unless, of course, you have a helicopter and permission from the Forest Service to land.
Had a great day out at the Sydney Botanic Gardens with members of the Australian Female Photographers - 13 of us in all and it was a lot of fun!

Flower beetle (Euphoria sepulchralis) on the single form of the chestnut rose, Rosa roxburghii normalis. The petals are also heavily damaged by flower thrips.

Also had a copy of a 1919 Crosley patent application stuffed inside. But, I think this is a Precision set, Ace trademark, which Crosley eventually purchased in an attempt to keep RCA out of the market. Interesting that it has RCA tubes in it...which are probably not original to the set, but ok for the era.
