November 17, 2009-- Last night Taylor decided that we should be "on a break" for a little while. So, today is the first day that I have been single in almost 3 years. I hate it.

If the CPR mask within this little bag is for one use only, why is the package reclosable? I guess probably for disposal of the used shield...I just thought it was kind of funny at first. On the health front, my blood pressure is back to normal. It's amazing what getting out of Idaho can do for your health!
First stop on the road trip was Furano. Furano is famous for its flowers, we were a little early for the full bloom, but we were treated to a few delights.
Each spring, the violets appear overnight. One day I have none; the next day I have some; and soon I have many. I know they are viewed as weeds by many, because they spread haphazardly, but I love their tiny flowers and their lush foliage.
The rest on my sandboard, since I ran out of baggies! The kids needed a few for lunches, so I had to share!

This is a single shot 1:1 macro at f2.8 ISO 400 on Bulb time. I was using a filiment bulb, [12 volt tailight globe], for illumination and forgot to change the camera setting for that. Still I am happy with the result and will try some more shots maybe with bright miniature LED bulbs.
The very best fixing is to grow into something rather than to be hammered on - or screwed on for that matter. To be a living part of something is much more meaningful. I like the "I am the vine and you are the branches" analogy, - in my case, I am one of the grafted in wild branches Jesus mentions. Maybe more of a cell in a leaf on a grafted in branch on the vine is more like it.
