The girls jokingly referred to this statue outside the Orangerie Museum as the "Single Ladies" statue (think Beyonce).
Had to have a recent shot o' myself as I am a leader in the Scott Kelby Worldwide Photowalk, 2013, Kalamazoo division. I shot this in the basement, using a single LED lamp. DSLR Controller was used to compose and to control the camera. Only the cats were allowed to watch.
The Krantz Aloe is a valuable garden asset, it has large beautiful flowers, attractive foliage, decorative form, and it is easy to grow. It is also a 'must-have' for anyone wanting to stock their herb gardens with indigenous healing plants.
The Krantz Aloe develops into a multiheaded shrub 2 -3m high with striking grey green leaves arranged in attractive rosettes. The leaf margins are armed with conspicuous pale teeth.
Yellow formThe large colourful flower spikes are borne in profusion during the cold winter months (May-July), brightening up a drab winter garden. Deep orange is the most common colour, but there are also pure yellow forms, and an unusual bi-coloured form of deep orange (almost red) and yellow. The inflorescence is usually unbranched, with two to several arising from a single rosette. As with all the aloes, the flowers produce nectar and are attractive to many kinds of birds, in particular the small and colourful sunbirds, which flit from flower to flower in search of nectar. The flowers also attract bees.

This bridge is the link between the Core Island (Precinct 4) and Precinct 7. Seri Saujana Bridge is strategically located at the main entrance into the Core Island from the south via the upgraded B15 road and KL-KLIA highway.

It is a new concept of the cable stayed Arch bridge. The bridge is controlled by the principal design parameters to reflect a transparent elegant and futuristic slender looking structure, with an overall single span of 300m and total width of 32m.
There are dual three lane carriageways. The deck level varies from RL 35.25m at abutment to RL 35m at centre of the bridge.

Single-coating vs Multi-coating.
While both lenses have visible flare in the images, the multi-coated lens clearly has more contrast and less green and orange tinting. Asahi Pentax's famous S-M-C coating seems to be working well, but is probably still ancient tech when compared to modern multi-coating.
Aircraft was landing at Stewart International Airport in Orange County, Newburgh,NY. We were traveling on Interstate Route# 84 West at this time. These planes are ideally suited for short-range flights with a few passengers or light load of cargo in good to fair weather and are typically flown by a single pilot.
Two Plains Zebra (Equus burchelli) running in almost single file. I like it when animals line up one after the other but it is hard to get the depth of field correct.
