Had singinglessons today, and always when I'm there I feel like crying. The
exercises always set my emotions in motion. It's normal my teacher sais :)
thanks to Crolie and Miel for throwing feathers at me :)
Last night I had a terrible night. I couldn't fall asleep and when I finally did at 4 o'clock I had a intense dream, about some unfinished business with someone I loved a lot, way way back. When I woke up at 5:45 I just couldn't sleep anymore. I felt really sick about the short 2 hours sleep I had, but I got out of bed, and drank lots of coffee. I had singinglessons at 10:45 and I felt so sick that I was afraid the bus would make me throw up (pardon) so I had to go by bike (about 30 minutes). Anyway, biking was a bad idea, wind, rain, cold. We started the lesson with some breathing exercises, but while she was pushing my tummy, I said: No this ain't gonna work. So we sat down and she taught me another breathing exercise, which was really relaxing. We had a chat and then she said: You need to let it all out, you keep it all inside and that 'causes a physical reaction. And it's true the medicine the doctor gave me don't work. It's stress/worries. I told her that the last few weeks I have this wall arround me, am just not here, and I don't share my thoughts, especially not with Emiel. She said I have to. And that's when I started crying, a real cry, and crying.
We had a good talk, about how I should start loving myself, and about how afraid I am to lose it all. No singing, just talking, and tears for me I really needed. She gave me a flyer of a woman who maybe can help me to deal with some things from the past. I think I'm going to make an appointment with her soon. It's a spiritual therapist, I'm really curious, AND OPEN!
After that, I had a date with my cuteness girly friend, my musical sister Diana.
Since I quited with the musical I don't see her that much anymore, that's different from 3 years every monday. It was so great to have her here, she has such great spirit, she's addorable cute (and a little naughty which I like, 'cause she hides it well) and very sweet!
I took some photos of her, she's a great model, tries lot of different faces. Tomorrow I will upload some of the photos.
I'm happy with the few but Great friends I have! Love ya'll!!
AND YAY FOR THE WEEKEND!!!
Played guitar today. Haven't been playing for like 3 years, so my fingers hurt very quickly. But it was nice to touch my love again. I did buy her when I was 15, she was standing in the window of a musicshop at the place where I used to live, I thought she was beautiful, but didn't bought her. At one day she wasn't there anymore, and my heart hurted. So I went inside and there she was. I arranged the money and bought her. I'm not a good player. Never took lessons and am too impatient to practice. But it's so great to accompany yourself while singing, so I'm going to practice some more, and do some recordings of the song I'm singing at singinglessons.
Today a plane crashed at our airport, I try not to think about it much, but it keeps me busy. I'm sorry for the victims and the surviving dependants.
I think I haven't made a 365 selfie on our toilet, so here it is :P
Doing better today, had singinglessons this morning (singing part of your world of the little mermaid ;)) and after that I got back into bed, cause I was soooo tired and cold. Going to play some more Layton now. Sweet dreams :)
The vocal master classes of the Swiss baritone Bruno V. Nünlist (where I can participate for the second time this year) are held under the slogan "Zen in the art of singing?". In accordance with that the long and exhausting days begin with half an hour of meditation in the early morning. Even for someone like me, who rejects esoteric and strictly denies transcendence, a beautifully relaxing, contemplative and invigorating way to start the day. If one could or would only ever take the time for it!

Pretty intense day. The bus where I was in had an accident with a car. Pretty heavy. It was the first accident I've had, and I was pretty shocked. That combined with my bus/carfobia....I was on my way to singing lessons, and the bus didn't see a car while crossing the street. Strange thing was that everyone in the bus saw the car, and because the busdriver hessitated we all thought he saw the car, so the car kept on driving but the busdriver did too.Bang. Because we saw the accident coming we were prepaired, there was only one woman with a pain in the neck. (My whole body feels sore now..) The cardriver, a young man, was really angry and he said: DON'T SAY A WORD TO ME! to the busdriver. The busdriver asked if he was okay. The cardriver instant called the police and he was shouting in the telephone about how stupid the busdriver was.
I thought the busdriver was really absent before the accident, not focussed. He gave me less change and he stopped the bus to make a chat with someone, he got really distracted all the time. And funny thing is that I wanted to take a bus later, because I had a strange feeling, but I didn't 'cause otherwise I was too late for singinglessons. I need to listen a little more to my intuition. Because not to encourage my bus/car fear again ( I was just a little over it) I took the bus back home after singing lessons. Things like this happen, and I'm glad nobody got hurt.
Now I have to go to bed!
Tomorrow me and Diana have our first agility with Benthe!!!!!! I'm soooo looking forward to it!!!!!

Today I traveled by train for the first time in 6 months. It was scary I can tell you, close to panic attack. Had a great day at Frouke's, more singinglessons. Hard! I always sing really save, but she tried to let me curb and overdrive. It doesn't sound good yet, 'cause it's a lot of hard work, but I am going to practice more. I was happy my love picked me up, so I didn't had to take the train back home.
This is a crappy telephone photo, I don't have the spirit to make a better one. It's from my "Wacht u voor de bus" serie. I make a photo everytime I wait for the bus. You can see them here: www.mobypicture.com/user/jeanique

As we enter La Casa de La Cultura in Trinidad, we have the good fortune of this beautifully musical sight: A small class of kids having a go at Silvio Rodriguez': "Yo vengo a ofrecer mi corazón".

The lot of crying last night caused me a terrible migraine attack. I felt really sick. So today Emiel cancelled my singinglessons, so I could sleep a little longer. My headache is still a little nagging and I still feel a little sick, but much much better than last night. I think I tried a little to hard this week, I was really tense, I wanted to have a good week, so I worked hard. A changing of plans made me snap. Everything is okay now, I just need to take babysteps.
