Happened to pass by Bedok Interchange a few months ago and saw this figurine model of Singa the Lion, the former mascot of the Singapore Kindness Movement. Thought it looked quite cute. A pity he "retired" in two years ago in 2013...
Singa to the left are trying to eat a bit of Pippi or the other way around. They are both healthy happy pharaohounds :). Sorry 'bout my feet or be sorry for them.... :)
-Added to the Cream of the Crop pool as my personal favorite.

I've seen a lot of pix of other dogs sleeping this way, so I thought why not show that my dogs are weird too (as if you didn't know already :)). Here is our Pharaoh Hound Singa taking a nap - with her eyes open, as usual. No white or red showing this time, thank you.... :)
Another cute pic of Singa as a puppy. Here with her mummy, Rosa and being in good health some time after she was sick and almost died away from us. Little horror-pup! No wonder we love her to bits :)
The Merlion is the national personification of Singapore. The name combines "mer" (the sea) and "lion". The fish body represents Singapore's origin as a fishing village when it was called Temasek, ("sea town"). The lion head represents Singapore's original name ("Singapura")—meaning "lion city" or "kota singa".
The Merlion (Malay: Singa-Laut) is an unofficial mascot of Singapore, depicted as a mythical creature with a lion's head and the body of a fish. It is used to represent both the city state and its people in sports teams, advertising, branding, tourism and as a national personification.
