Sinclair Oil Corporation is an American petroleum corporation, founded by Harry F. Sinclair on May 1, 1916, as the Sinclair Oil and Refining Corporation by combining the assets of 11 small petroleum companies. The Company has one of the most recognizable mascots in the country – a large green Brontosaurus (Apatosaurus) dinosaur named Dino. Dino has been the advertising character for Sinclair since the mid-1930s.

Zwölf Jahre flickr
Auch an diesem 24. Oktober ist wieder ein flickr - Jahr vorbei
und ich feiere meinen flickr - Geburtstag.
Nun ist es der Zwölfte.
Nun kann ich das gleiche wieder schreiben was ich schon vor einem Jahr schrieb:
"Vielen Dank an alle Freunde, Kontakte, Fotobegeisterte, Zufallsbekanntschaften und zufällig Vorbeischauende aus aller Welt die meine Bilder betrachten, favorisieren, kommentieren. kritisieren und für "Gut" befinden.
Auf dieser Seite kann ich mein Können und meine Leidenschaft zu der Fotografie zeigen.
Sicherlich ist man kein Profi, dafür aber schon profihaft ausgestattet und es gibt viele die es besser können.
Letztendlich soll es mir ja auch Spaß machen und keinen Druck erzeugen seine Kreativität zu entfalten.
Deshalb schaue ich mir auch gerne andere Bilder von Fotografen aus aller Welt an und versuche mich auf vielen Gebieten, wobei die Panorama-, Makro-, Nacht-, Landschafts- sowie Porträtfotografie im Vordergrund steht."
Eine gute Kameraausrüstung ist nicht entscheidend, doch sie macht schon sehr viel aus. Mit ihr hat man mehr Möglichkeiten für gelungene Fotos und genießt dabei den heutigen Stand der Technik.

El Castillo Girnigoe, cerca de la población de Wick, data del S. XV, y fue construido por el Conde de Caithness, que es la Región del noreste de Escocia donde se encuentra ubicado. Como otros castillos-fortaleza escoceses, se encuentra en la cima de un precioso acantilado.
Something new in Winnsboro TX. They took an old gas station and turned it into a beautiful mini restaurant. Food it great.

Construction had begun as early as the late 14th century and the buildings had been added to over the years with the final additions made in the 17th century. But it looks as if they are attempting a bit of restoration work here only to stop any further deterioration. Originally they thought there were two castles here but have realised the two parts were actually all belonging to the same castle - hence the double name.
